We had a fantastic family vacation at the Lilypad in Ocean City! Mike was very easy to communicate with and gave us clear instructions for both check in and check out. I can’t say enough about the location of the house. It is literally two blocks from the beach! It is about four miles from the boardwalk and restaurants so the neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need for food preparation if you want. The bedrooms were perfect for our family. The house was clean, cozy and comfortable and just what a Jersey Shore beach house should be.The house has an outdoor storage closet with some beach supplies which was great. We did not need to purchase anything extra for the beach, although we brought our own blankets and towels. We went to the beach every day and it was easy to come home if we needed to for lunch, extra supplies, etc. I grew up going down the shore but this was my first time in Ocean City. What a great beach town! Clean, quiet, safe, good restaurants, shops and our boys (10 and 17) had a blast on the boardwalk. From the house we had to drive to the boardwalk area (about 4 miles) but it was easy and parking was easy too. Our family would absolutely return and stay here again. Highly recommend!

The property is located in a very nice clean section of Ocean City. The walk to the beach took 5 minutes. Everything you could possibly want is included in the home. Literally, the only thing you need to bring are your clothes. The drive to the Boardwalk takes about 10 minutes. The beaches near the home are not crowded. My only comment is the water pressure in the home. Taking a shower is a challenge the water temperature constantly changes even though we didn't use the water while anyone was showering.

Property is very well maintained and the owner provides so many accommodations for guests. The location is great- only a few blocks away from guest. Plus the life guard is close by to beach block. We had a great vacation. The outside patio was such a perfect place to relax.

The house was very clean, well taken care of and as advertised. Michael was a pleasure to work with. Definitely recommend. Would love to return.

Michael was very easy to deal with and efficient. The house was immaculate but a little smaller than I thought it would be. The kitchen was well equipped and it was easy to find everything. We had a beautiful week weather wise. The street was a little busier than I would have liked but it was very easy to get to the beach and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

My family and I rented this property on fairly short notice. Our son had a three-day weekend and wanted to go birding in Cape May and Brigantine, so OC was a good in-between location. The property is very cozy and comfortable. The master bedroom is a little tight with its king bed, but that's a minor quibble. The main living area is very inviting, especially the dining area, and the front porch is a comfy place to hang out. The big plus for me was Mike, the property owner. Mike was very helpful as I fumbled to open the key safe. He was also very accommodating in adjusting the thermostat temperatures, and very flexible in allowing me to check out an hour later than normal owing to a business call scheduled on very short notice on Monday morning. I highly recommend renting with Mike, and I think you'll find the Lilypad will more than meet your needs!

We stayed at the lilypad for a long weekend after labor day and had the best time! We were a short bike ride or drive from the restaurants/attractions at 34th street where we went often! Michael's home was perfect for us. We spent a lot of time relaxing, reading and playing games on the front porch where there is a very comfortable collection of patio furniture. The home was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend! We would definitely stay here again.
