Stayed Feb 14, 2025It was pretty close to the beach. Wouldn't say private access. It was a walk to the holiday inn beach acess. Property had a lot of amenities... pool, hot tub (was the temp i usually get out of the bathtub at), heated kiddie pool (a few degrees cooler than hot tub), clean and well maintained. There was basketball, tennis and pickle ball. You need to purchase wristbands to use anything (a separate $10/person charge). Our porch would have been nice, but there was construction going on, so we had a view of scaffolding, plastic and workers directly on our porch. They also provided a good alarm for morning time (huge bummer, wasnt informed of that in advance). Not sure if host knew because the neighbors (that own and we pretty much share a porch with) said they weren't informed about a start time. The bathrooms were clean (except for the chunk of blue toothpaste i scrubbed off the sink/wall area). The kitchen cabinets were sticky with grease and fingerprints. We ended up wiping the counter and stove so we could put our stuff down and ended up with brown paper towels. We also had to flip the chair cushion because there was white crusty stuff on it. It sounds like I'm bashing the place, with all the amenities and near the beach, we had a good time
