South Mission Tranquil Bay Side, Gorgeous Ground Level Unit w/ AC

This was a 10 out of 10 experience, we came the week before our son’s wedding and it was the perfect house to relax and enjoy the beach and the bay. Lovely family oriented area of South Mission Beach. Close to shopping, restaurants and attractions. Lacy was a fantastic host.

The unit was clean, new, and linens/towels were plush and comfy. It was quiet and the patio was so welcoming. The bay is 4 houses away and the beach is on the opposite side of the road and a .2 mile walk, and a perfect place to watch the sunset. It is on our list to rent again.

This was the perfect location and home for our family vacation. Everything was comfortable and clean. It was great to have all the items we needed for the beach provided (chairs, boards, toys, etc.). We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future!

Nice house, close to the beach, very clean and well kept. Nothing negative to say at all. We enjoyed our week there, all kinds of places close to eat and shop. San Diego zoo, Sea World, several museum's all within a few miles easy to get to.

The place is a true gem and it's location was perfect. 5 min walk to Mission Beach! Could recommend more highly for a family or couples trip. The host was very responsive and we loved our stay!!!

We loved our stay here! The kitchen had everything we needed and we especially appreciated the large dining area that accommodated us for meals and game night. This seems silly but it made a difference - we also loved how many bath towels there were and how many spots there were to hang them. It was so helpful after a beach day where everyone needed to shower. We rented a mini van and it was too large for parking in the garage or parallel right outside of it. That was a little challenging but we made it work. The house had so many beach toys and boogie boards which made a huge difference for our trip! This place was amazing and we totally recommend it!

Everything is pretty good.. parking garage is small.. definitely nothing bigger than midsize suv.. which is still a pain to park… location is towards the end.. quiet but further from the market/food area. Host was responsive and nice. Recommend for family looking for a quiet stay

Host was great! Quick to respond during our stay. Super helpful when I couldn’t find my door codes. Perfect location, off the beaten path, but close enough to walk to stores and restaurants. The property is well loved with some wear. Very well appointed with games, beach toys for big and small kiddos, a cooler, and a heavy duty wagon to get it all to the beach and back.

Great place for a family stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and well set up for traveling with kids. The location was convenient to beaches and attractions while still feeling quiet and safe. The host was responsive and made everything easy. We’d definitely stay here again on our next San Diego trip.

Yes host was available for questions and welcoming ! We did have an issue with the stove and she offered to have a handyman come to fix it asap . We declined as we were not planning to cook anymore during our stay . This is a great location within walking distance to beach , boardwalk and many amazing restaurants . Also comfortable beds and a great space ! We will definitely be back !!!

Super close to the bay and easy for young kids to walk. Our 2 year old had no problem walking to the bay. There is also a park on the bay. My kids' favorite park, Maruta Gardner, is a little longer walk at just under a mile. The beach is a bit further with a lot of sand to walk through before reaching the water. The beach area closest to the house is also a surfing zone. The living room and kitchen are very big and spacious. The bedrooms are small, but there is plenty of dresser space to unpack. Our minivan didn’t fit in the garage, so we just stored our empty suitcases there. We had no issues finding parking daily, but we are used to finding parking since we live in a city. Our two year old just started climbing out and refusing the crib, so we didn’t set up the pack 'n plays, as they would make the rooms very tight if used. We had a toddler blow-up bed for her, but we chose not to set it up due to the small size of the rooms. There were lots of extra blankets and plenty of towels. There are also two high chairs available. There are lots of beach toys, one kid's scooter (we didn’t see a helmet), a wagon, and everything needed for a beach day.We would definitely stay again—we had an amazing time!

The house fit us all perfectly..Laura was available for everything we needed. We'd definitely stay here again. Only downfall is lack of street parking.

And a very nice rental. Super clean, well stocked, nice furnishings. I love what are called “courts” in this area, a walkway along the front of the houses, with cars and garages in the back. It is right between the bay and the ocean, and we enjoyed both. Host was very responsive when I had a question. Would recommend and stay here again myself. Thank you!

Good location for mission beach. Very clean and comfortable, just a bit smaller than the photos indicated. The mission bay was a perfect short walk. We would certainly repeat a stay here

Everything was great other than the parking situation, loud airplanes overhead and the very loud neighbors above. The people above must have a toddler who gets up just before 7. The toddler would runs back and forth up there which woke us up every morning and we would hear them talking and the kid screaming. Location was great because you can walk to any beach, walk to a couple close food places and walk to town.

The house is as exactly described. Property owner responds promptly and very personable. The only thing is the description doesn't describe how adorable the neighborhood is and the neighbors are friendly as well as the neighborhood cat, Lucy. Not a single complaint about this property. Looking forward to staying here in the future!

Location was perfect, as was home. However, we weren’t aware that it was directly under the flight path if the airport. Planes constantly overhead. Also was unaware that there was going to be construction in the alley behind the house. Also in the advertisement it didn’t say that there was a tenant on the second floor, but it was a non issue because we never heard a peep from them. Overall, it was a nice clean place and might lease again.

A short family trip to see the ocean. Very nice place and great communication with the host. Only thing was the grill wasn’t working great but we determined it was just really dirty. Just burned it off for a good 15 minutes and then it worked fine

We only stayed 2 nights, but everything was great! The location is walking distance to multiple beach areas! The house was clean, and cozy! The patio was great to have breakfast on, or a drink in the evening! Would definitely book this house again!

Really cute little house just down from the bay. Quiet residential street with little foot traffic. Well stocked with beach toys and accessories. Kitchen also had all the necessities for a great family getaway. We stay at Mission Beach periodically and this was our favorite house so far. Hope to stay here again next year.
