Stayed Oct 3, 2024BAD EXPERIENCE AT SONORAN SPA AND WITH CASTAWAYS. Just completed a 4 day stay at the Sonoran Spa in this unit. Let’s just say it was a terrible experience. When we arrived, we immediately realized that the refrigerator wasn’t working and we had brought quite a bit of food that needed a fridge. We notify the staff at the resort and they replaced the fridge with one that was rusted and didn’t work either. Also, there was a lot of rust in the microwave, the oven kept making a beeping noise that was impossible to turn off, there was a missing remote that made it impossible for one of the TVs to work, a non-working iron and not enough towels for all of us. The resort staff said they would send up technicians to resolve the multiple issues, but they never showed up after replacing the first fridge. So they straight up lied to us repeatedly. The main issue was the fridge and that was never resolved. We reached out multiple times also to Castaways, the property management group for this particular condo about all the issues. They took our calls and promised to call us back multiple times, but never did.  For the amount of money we spent on this condo, I have to admit it was a pretty terrible experience. My wife and kids love coming to Rocky Point but I’m of the mindset that it’s very overpriced and really not that good. We’ll never rent anything from Castaways again as they are a joke.

Stayed Sep 30, 2022The view was amazing and location was great. There were little things that would have been nice; dryer that had heat, freezer that wasn’t leaking water into the fridge, etc.

Stayed Feb 15, 2019This room was easy to book, had a great view and was clean. Zero problems with room. We have stayed at many condos on Sandy Beach, but this one leaves a lot to be desired for the staff making you feel welcome. Checking in almost made us want to leave. The front desk treats you like you are trash basically. We were told at least 5 times that we were going to be kicked out without warning if we even violated the smallest rule. They really made us uncomfortable as if they would be walking around searching for reasons to kick guests out. So only 4 stars. Not the condo owners fault but they really need some training at the front desk to learn how to make guests feel welcome and want to come back. Not sure if we will ever go to the Spa again and we go to PP 6 or 7 times a year.
