Sol-Mate - Serene beachfront condo steps from the Gulf

Amazing condo, gorgeous ocean views, right on the beach. It is peaceful, clean, comfortable, and updated tastefully with a well-stocked kitchen. Beach umbrellas, coolers, toys, and lots of beach chairs were conveniently located in the condo’s designated storage closet. New hosts were helpful and responsive. Check in and check out were easy. No pool and no elevator, but we didn’t miss those at all. We are already looking at dates to return!

We had a great stay at this property! The view right on the ocean, with multiple patios were great to experience the ocean.Alex and Kelsey were fantastic hosts. We had some challenges come up during our stay, but they were incredibly helpful and diligent in working through them with us. Their communication and effort to make things right really made a difference. We would definitely recommend staying here!

The location is right on the beach with great views of the sunset. Not crowded. Walking distance to French bakery and a few other restaurants and mini golf. Beautiful, updated, and comfortable condo. There are small steps down to living room, in one bedroom, and one bathroom. Appreciated the beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, and towels for the beach. Hosts very communicative and helpful.

This was a vacation to remember! The views are amazing and the town within walking distance have everything! We had a blast with our two teens for a Xmas/NY getaway!

Excellent location with direct access to the beach. Plenty of space to relax in the evening, and three outdoor patios/rooftops to enjoy! Quiet location, less than 10 minutes to groceries. Towels and beach chairs provided.

Awesome place. Second time staying here and it was just as good as the first. Only advice it to bring shampoo/conditioner as they didn’t supply any.

This is a great rental unit and meets the promises shown on the internet. The owner is super responsive and any questions we had were addressed immediately and satisfactorily.The unit itself has anything you’ll need and view is terrific.Remember this is a rental and not your house so judge accordingly. You’ll find it’s all you need and more.A note of caution. There is no elevator and about 30 steps up to the entry on the second floor. The stairs are interrupted by a landing between ground a floor 1 and another between 1st and 2nd floor.People with average abilities will have no problems.VRBO rental process was easy and as efficient as I’ve always experienced.

This place is worth it for the balcony views alone! Perfect location with 2 parking spots is a rare find. Spacious interior that is well stocked with all you need. The beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys in the storage closet were a nice bonus! The owners were incredibly helpful and communicative. Would highly recommend!The only thing to note is that the 3rd bedroom loft is not fully closed off, it has blinds over the opening for privacy but not a solid wall. Not a big deal but we did not realize in the pictures (description does say loft though).

This property was identical to the photos and description. Everything we needed was in the home including towels, plenty of sheets and bedding, dishes, coffee pot, and even laundry hampers! Sunning on the roof is a nice experience and the sunsets on the gulf are absolutely breathtaking. The property owner is very responsive and reached out to make sure things were going okay the day we arrived. There is just nothing like being right on the beach! I would definitely book again!

We had a great stay. They have a perfect and very beautiful location on the beach. Sunsets were amazing. Jen was extremely helpful and the communication was great. The unit was very well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We would definitely go back next time we are in the area.

This is our 2nd year staying in this building. Last year we stayed in a two bedroom. The location is perfect. About 15 miles from the airport, Clearwater or St. Pete. We prefer the less busy beaches and Indian Shores is a hidden gem we've fallen in love with. We had two teens on spring break who stayed upstairs. They loved it and had their own rooftop patio to lay out on. The spiral stairs were not easy to get a 50lb suitcase up but they did it. Also, you will climb a few flights of stairs getting to the unit with those heavy suitcases but it is so worth it! The condo is beautifully updated and had everything we needed from dishwasher tabs, trash bags, beach towels, beach bag, cooler, awesome beach chairs, umbrellas and more. This was a nice bonus since we flew. They had board games and binoculars. A very informative book on places to eat and anything you need to know. Everyone had plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. It was very clean and I loved the decor. This truly felt like home away from home. The sunsets are breathtaking and you can watch right from 3 balconies or steps away on the beach. The owner even brought us more beach towels on our last day. I really can't express how much you'll love staying here. We can't wait to return and are already missing that beautiful view. Thanks so much for sharing your little slice of heaven.

The condo was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The balcony overlooked the ocean and the beach being right out your backdoor was perfect. We were traveling with a small child so a couple of things to be cautious of are: lots of stairs to walk up to get to the unit so loading and unloading luggage was a challenge and single stairs and spiral stairs in the condo were a challenge with an 18 month old. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo to friends and family. Property management were accessible and responsive.

I have never written a negative review, so let me start with the positives. The location is great, views are amazing, and kitchen and bathrooms are updated. Now, onto the negatives, the furnishings both inside and on the decks were not up to par. Quite frankly, I didn’t even want to sit on the living room furniture. The mattresses were really bad. Lastly, everyone should know that there are 32 steps to climb to enter the unit.

Such a relaxing trip and so needed for our family! We got away for the Thanksgiving holiday as we lost our home in Hurricane Helene, and this property was the perfect place to destress and enjoy family time. With all the balconies and the gorgeous views, we could keep an eye on the kids while they played down by the water. House was clean and comfortable. We originally booked the condo mainly because of the hot tub on the roof top. We had a 1 year old with us so the idea was that we could chill in the spa once he was asleep. Sadly due to the storm and new rulings the hot tub was removed. I only realised this when I was showing a family member the Condo. We checked if we could cancel and book something else with a pool/tub but we couldn’t. The proprietors did give us a $50 dollar voucher. Checking in was confusing as the specific number of the condo was not specified on the information. The condo is in a beautiful location on Indian shores and is very well equipped with beach chairs, games etc. It is also a good location to visit other areas. We was lucky enough to spot a few dolphins from the balcony and the beach. We visited just recently after the 2 hurricanes so a lot of work was being completed on the beach which was great to see. I would recommend this condo to families/groups it’s spacious and has lovely decor. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Condo was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a beach stay. Views were amazing! Would definitely recommend this place! Owners were courteous and checked in with us the first day to make sure we had everything we needed.

A year ago I wrote a review for Sol Mate! It was amazing and my biggest worry coming back is that it wouldn’t quite be the same. I was wrong. Sol Mate is an amazing condo in an amazing location. Sean and Jennifer are amazing hosts. The condo is spotless and looks just like the pictures if not better.

We had a great girls trip!! Condo was very clean and had everything you need. Owners were so accommodating!!
