Pretty poor conditions and sad, tired, and borderline hazardous amenities. Nothing felt very clean. The carpet was poorly vacuumed. The pillows were all yellowed and stained (BRING YOR OWN), the mattress cover had a few large scabs with hairs sticking out of them (hopefully from a dog), the comforter/blankets for the bed were clearly not recently washed as they were covered in dog hair, the fitted sheet was not for the same size the bed was, leaving it baggy and loose. The silverware was dirty and clearly not quality checked after coming out of the dishwasher (no it wasn't just mineral build up, visible chunks), the dishwasher was still full from the last guest. Overall, this place only redeeming quality was proximity to the ski hill and having a hottub/pool on site. If either of those didn't exist, we would not have checked in and requested a refund. Plenty of broken things with special instructions on how to use them. $200 and a little attention to detail would go a long way in making this a much better stay. Stay at Bluefin Bay instead. We ended up picking this over there because of the proximity to the ski hill. This was more expensive too, talk about paying for your mistakes. The 10 minute drive to Bluefin Bay is well worth it. Would avoid this place and could not recommend to anyone.

The mattress on the Murphy bed is horrible and very old. The coffee pot is mini and doesn’t even fill 2 mugs. The towels are old and barely cover my small frame which meant it was a hand towel for my 6ft partner. Some small and not horribly expensive investments would go a long way. It’s small but that doesn’t bother us at all. It’s not a getaway to hang out inside anyway.

Great location with good views and amenities. The place is clean, but dated. The bed was pretty comfortable. Refrigerator was unplugged and did not work.

The setting was incredible!! The room was small but everything was there. Kitchen and room had everything we needed. We used the Murphy bed which was pretty good. My daughter slept on the airbed and she said it was comfortable. There was a fireplace which was just lovely and a deck which doesn’t face the mountain but it was still very pretty. The pool and hot tub were in the same building— very convenient!! And of course, skiing right from the hotel!! There were some small things that we noticed that could be easily remedied!! The pillows were pretty stained so you may want to bring your own. And the cutlery were super worn which made them look like they had food residue on them. It was an incredible stay! We loved every minute!! The host responded quickly!

The property is at a great location and the unit was very reasonably priced. Unfortunately there were a number of detractors, 1-2 would be expected at the price point. The toaster fell apart, there were no filters for the coffee maker, the dishes had significant soap scum so had to wash them before use, no dish scrubby to clean them, no body wash or soap, switch panels were dirty, towels were oversized hand towels, mattress in poor condition, shower curtain a little tangled mess, broken cupboard, water kettle chrome was rusty and delaminating, etc. We made do, but would rather have paid an extra $20/night for which just my stay would have paid for most of the expense to bring the place into order plus a little TLC.

Booked last minute to head to lutsen for the snowstorm. Great location, owner had good communication. Nicer than majority of hotels. Would definitely stay here again!

The unit we stayed in itself was clean enough, the halls and stairs were outright filthy. Dosen't set a great tone. The walkways were all broken up concrete, all patched and uneven trip hazards. The towels in the unit itself qere at least 15 year's old i would guess. Tiny and thin. The whole door should be replaced. Had to get door opened and closed. The pool area was nice, unfortunately only about a dozen chairs. So although we wanted to go sit down by the pool, there wasn't any chaiirs open. Same for alot of other guests

The murphy bed mattress needs to be replaced. Also, I didn't read the message where you need to bring towels, linens, pillows, blankets. Overall it was clean and adequate for our needs. I would suggest having travelers sign an acknowledgement about bringing linens, towels, etc. Flying from out of state, this was not even on my mind, and yes it was sent in a message to me, I just didn't read far enough. But who thinks about bringing that stuff on a trip?

Through Expedia, some VRBO information gets dropped. For instance, bring your own sheets, got lost. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay, and I'd love to go back to ski!

This was our second time staying at this condo. We really like the convenience of the resort and condo facility and enjoy the ease of a condo stay - being able to bring most of our food versus eating in restaurants all the time. The kitchen is small but has the basics for a long weekend stay. Probably our favorite feature is the balcony. What a great spot to sit and enjoy post-hike snacks and drinks in the afternoon. The only drawbacks are (1) the Murphy bed mattress - neither of us slept well and (2) the oven needs to be cleaned. It smoked really heavily so keep an eye on things if you use it.

It was okay. The area was in an excellent spot but the place could’ve been cleaner, very dusty and the surfaces were dirty from using a Clorox wipe…it turned black from the dining/coffee table & inside of the windows. Not to mention there were hairs above the shower wall…it was overall fine once I cleaned up a bit…It was my first vrbo rental and the guy was kinda rude towards me overall…I recommend the caribou highlands in Lutsen mountain. Great area. Would rate it 5/10.

I feel the advertisement is accurate for this condo. It is very basic. The couch was open and broken when we arrived. Luckily, I had an single air mattress in my car! Otherwise, it was nice to come back to some air conditioning. We were barely there!
