Ski In Ski Out Condo on Sugar Mountain- Ready to Explore The High Country

Clean beautiful views. With great decor. Easy accessibility to mountain

Eric and Chrissy have a very beautiful place. It is very convenient to banner elk and Boone. It was very easy to communicate with the host. We loved being able to go to the gym and use the pool sauna and hot tub. We enjoyed eating at the banner elk Cafe and Lodge and also at stonewalls everything was delicious. Definitely will want to stay in the same area whenever we go back.

Loved the proximity to the ski slopes.

Wow. The location and view was top notch. The apartment was very clean and welcoming. The hosts were accommodating and very nice. Overall a great place!

This was a very nice condo. We were surprised there was no air conditioning or a dehumidifier and it was quite damp. Otherwise we had a very nice stay.

This condo was perfect for a weekend getaway for two! It was very clean with nice decor. The owner is friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our visit.

Everything was just as advertised. Tons of towels and coffee..all the little things. Will be back!

Everything about this place is amazing! Updated unit, very clean, kitchen had everything you need, bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on booking the same unit next year!

This condo was perfect for my weekend get away! Everything was clean. Check in was easy. And the view was exactly what i needed!

The room was not cleaned. Bed was not made and dirty sheets and towels were still in the unit from the previous guest.

Location was perfect and super easy to walk over and ski down Oma. The room itself was small but just what two people need for a weekend. We greatly enjoyed our time. Hope to be back next season!

Convenient location

Exactly what we thought it would be! On top of a blue run so new skiers wouldn’t want to start with that. Very nice to ski in & out!

We had such an incredible weekend stay in this cozy condo. We stayed in a nearby building with our kids last year, and decided we’re only and always doing ski-in/ski-out. This year we came without kids, and the condo was perfect for 2 people. Being able to access the mountain right out the door is so key — zero pressure or stress. The owner is incredibly responsive — especially as we had a major ice storm hit while we were up there. (Also the bed is super comfortable!) We will absolutely book again next year. 10/10 highly recommended

We had the best time at this property! You can literally ski out/in within a hundred yards. It was quaint with spectacular views. We will definitely be back next year. Highly recommended!!

Great location. My son and I carried our skis to the slope.

Host is very welcoming and quick to respond to request. Studio is quaint and adorable with amazing views. If I was not on the slopes I was definitely looking out the windows of the studio. Kitchen was well equipped. Bring your own dishwashing pods. Lots of extra's there for you to use such as plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc I love the place and will definitely book it again.The pool and hot tub are quite nice as well. Easy ski out down Oma but not for a beginner.

Perfect cozy place!

Everything with the room was excellent. I gave it 4 stars only because the people above us sounded like elephants stomping around. Not the property’s fault but it was very noisy even with the tv on. I highly recommend this place. They take every consideration into someone having what they need, even down to contact case with solution if you wear contacts. Second time here and I love it! Will book again

Super cool mountain air, great views and excellent host.

The condo was very clean, aesthetically pleasing, and tidily organized when we arrived. Although it's small, it is surprisingly roomy because of excellent shelf and other spaces. The wonderful little fireplace makes the place very cozy. It's conveniently close to the slopes, and I enjoyed skiing eevery day, while my husband, who doesn't ski, enjoyed reading in front of the fire and using the condo's workout room. The host was very gracious and prompt in answering any questions that popped up during our visit. We will definitely be back during the next ski season.

Condo was in a great location, clean, and very nice for our weekend ski in/ski out trip.

We enjoyed our stay at “Ski Dog”! Would recommend it to any couple. The owner was very quick to respond. I would be a little bit more descriptive of Oma’s Meadow slope, isn’t for beginners. But very beautiful place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and clean condo

The condo is adorable.

Came to ski for 3 days and is a perfect location for 1-2 people to stay would definitely recommend it to people.

The property was as described, with easy access to Sugar Mountain Resort, which was exactly what we were looking for. It has all the essentials and is cozy. While it might be a bit of a challenge for more than two people, that’s to be expected for a studio.

The property was well appointed, accurate to pictures and in a great location. We very much enjoyed our trip and the included Club House was perfect for bad weather days or relaxing in the hot tub after skiing. Given the walk to the slopes (not too long), I would not quite call this “ski in - ski out”, especially with young children but it is close. I knocked a star off because of this but also because of the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the unit that permeated our clothes. I suspect this is due to previous users/renters of the unit, given the smoke detectors were also removed. I would suggest the cleaning crew be trained to identify smoke detectors removed and remediation of smoke smell. Overall, this is a great property in a great location.

Came up for a mission trip to help out the citizens of Avery County. Great place to stay owner was very responsive.
