Shorewood 508 - Top Floor Direct Oceanfront 2BR/2 Bath

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Shorewood 508 definitely has the Wow factor. Nice and clean, well-equipped. I let maintenance know about a couple of issues - like don't use both halves of the toaster simultaneously or the GFCI receptacle will blow, trip the circuit breaker and kill all the lights/receptacles downstream in the living room. Oof! Hot water didn't work in the kitchen (a weird faucet valve stem fluke) but these were minor - and totally normal. A very nice guy (maintenance?) came by and said he'd put a plumber on the hot water issue. I told him no hurry, so it wasn't fixed during our stay (probably because it was Memorial Day Weekend). I did notice just a couple of areas where cost-cutting was evident, like only one bar of soap in the bathroom (none for the shower), and no dishwashing liquid/sponges. Small details, but people appreciate that stuff when they pay top-dollar. But truly, I only mention these tiny details for the owners/managers' benefit - things I'd want to know if the place were mine. Bottom line: We were able to cook delicious meals, hang out, watch movies and and enjoy the gorgeous balcony view to our hearts' content. Strolling down to the beach together with easy beach access was the cherry on top. We would totally stay here again.

The beds were comfy, extra blankets were a plus and the layout was nice. Loved the new foot wash stations between the beach and pool. Pool was clean and the overall location of the condo is very convenient for walking and biking to shops/restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful view, quiet and serene. Perfect getaway for my husband and myself. Easy access to the pool and the beach. Comfortable bed.

Also, there are some thoughtful additions such as an extra fan for warm evenings and USB plugs for charging devices. We would definitely stay again!
