Second floor waterfront condo near Port Clinton

I attended the Biggest Week in American Birding festivities in May, and this unit was a great base from which to travel to daily activities. 20 minutes to Maumee Bay State Park, 7 minutes to Magee Marsh. Being on the eastern side of Maumee / Magee gave me the impetus to travel to Marblehead and East Harbor State Parks parks as well. Lakeside Daisies were in full bloom and a treat to see (The Preserve is near Marblehead).The unit was perfect for a solo traveler, and would be great for couples as well. Cozy and welcoming, tidy and comfortable. The screened-in porch overlooking water channels offered beautiful views at sunset, and in the morning was nice to sit out there and sip coffee. Watched boats motor out and in.Neighboring units are close (it's a condo), but neighbors and fellow travelers were courteous and in general, the area was very quiet during hours when you want quiet (evenings, night, and early morning)...with activity increasing during the day / after school, weekends, etc. From the condo unit, it is easy to hop onto Rte 2. A recently renovated gas station is located at that intersection, and made it convenient to grab a water, snack, or fill-up. There's a restaurant, bar, and patio in the back of the gas station and it was hopping all the time.

I rented this lovely condo for over three weeks in May. It is has everything you need to enjoy your getaway including coffee, toiletries and plenty of extra towels. The owner is very quick to respond if you have any questions. It has a fantastic hot shower! Having a washer and dryer was very helpful. My favorite part was being right on one of the marinas that connects to Lake Erie. There is a view of the water from pretty much anywhere in the condo even when you are standing at the kitchen sink. The screened in balcony is a great place to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. I would highly recommend this rental if you are in the area to explore the lakeshore, to birdwatch and enjoy the outdoors, if you love to fish, or just want to relax and get away from it all.

Great 1 bedroom getaway for a couple-or a single person who needs to escape reality! Close to several restaurants and the lake. Easy to find, friendly neighbors. Loved sitting on the screened in porch and was very grateful for it with those June mayflies that came in during a storm during our stay. ;) Would stay here again!

Very convenient for Erie fishing trip. Arrived late all went perfect. Will consider again for sure.

We loved the place. It was a clean, quiet and perfect location. We felt like home. Everyone around was so kind. We enjoyed our stay there and felt like home. The property manager was so responsive and went beyond his obligations to make us comfortable. Would go here again and for sure recommend to others.

My husband and I absolutely loved this property. It was clean, quiet, and the view was beautiful. We wanted to spend our 1st New Years eve together as husband and wife in a quiet and romantic place and that is exactly what we got. Glenn was even kind enough to leave a bottle of wine for us.
