Enjoy this newly renovated condo at the Victorian. Not all units at this complex are the same - in fact ALL are privately owned, some are rental pool units now or were in the past - this one is TRULY SPECIAL! From the wood headboard in the bedroom to the full sized refrgerator/freezer!

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups (because we manage quite a few condos at the same complex - only 6 can fit in this exact condo).

Visiting Galveston for one of the many competitive events hosted here Cheer, dance, sports tournaments or conferences Weddings, family reunions, class reunions, festivals, homes tours, or any other groups Why squeeze into a tiny hotel room when your entire group could stay in their own condos and enjoy together time at the pools, hot tubs, etc. instead!

Being in walking distance to a big box store makes shopping a breeze whether for food and beverage selections, beach necessities you may have forgotten, or souvenirs to remind you of your trip to the Texas gulf coast.

The Victorian complex is located across from Babe’s Beach on Galveston’s Seawall – protected by traffic signals at both corners so you can safely walk across to the beach. There’s a huge big box store that starts with a W next door for all your shopping needs, and eateries in walking distance for sandwiches and BBQ.

You will have exclusive use of the entire condo - and share the pools, hot tubs, fitness center, tennis court and grounds including BBQ pergolas, fish cleaning station and a multitude of outdoor spaces with other guests and residents of the Victorian condominium complex.
The complex has 2 pools – at least one of which is heated in the seasons when God does not do this for us. There are two hot tubs, a fitness center and picnic/BBQ areas. There are also 2 hot tubs, a tennis court, and BBQ grills and picnic areas sprinkled around the complex.

What's included: While we provide our guests with self check-in information and instructions, you can call us with any questions you may have at any time.

You will have exclusive use of the entire condo - and share the pools, hot tubs, fitness center, tennis court and grounds including BBQ pergolas, fish cleaning station and a multitude of outdoor spaces with other guests and residents of the Victorian condominium complex.

You certainly COULD stay here without a car - you can walk to shopping, eateries and the beach, there is public transportation nearby, and there are several local and nationally branded taxi services as well as ride share (Uber, Lyft) programs in place as well as meal deliveries (UberEats, ASAP (formerly WAITR) and DoorDash available as well. We provide self check in instructions 24-72 hours prior to arrival - and when you are on vacation - YOU ARE ON VACATION. Should you need to reach us, however, we are but a phone call or email away and ready to assist you. We are happy to answer any questions at any time, but to ensure we give you the correct code we cannot provide access instructions earlier than this.

Bed linens for all beds, one bath, hand and wash cloth for each guest that the unit welcomes. We do not provide beach/pool towels as when we did – they continuously went home with our guests. If you wish to “rent” beach towels from us – it is $25 for condos that accommodate up to 6 guests and $35 for condos that accommodate up to 8 guests. Which is only the additional cost of the laundering of them – labor time, laundry products, etc. We will need to have a credit card on file for this as if there are beach towels missing upon your departure, the charge is $25 per towel. We ask that our bath towels not be removed from the condo and taken to the beach or pool. They can get damaged or lost.

Starter supplies: 2 rolls of 2-ply, quilted toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, a dishwasher tablet, small dishwashing liquid, sponge, 2 small soaps, 2 small shampoos, trash bag, and coffee including sweeteners, stir sticks, powdered creamer to make that first pot. These are intended to get you started while you make your list and decide where to shop (there is a WalMart, Kroger, Randall's, Arlan's and Target on the island, as well as many mom & pop grocery stores.

The Victorian condominium complex is located on Seawall Boulevard with protected (traffic signal) crossing at the corner for ease of getting to the beach. You will be close to shopping and eateries - so whether you plan to experience Galveston's culinary adventures or save money by cooking in (some or all of your meals) it's convenient from this central Seawall Boulevard Location.

The Victorian condominium complex – like almost every condominium complex and hotel in Galveston, charges a parking/resort/amenity fees. This is not a charge from My Galveston Getaway and is paid directly to the complex upon your arrival. They will issue a parking permit and may issue wristbands that identify guests who are authorized at the complex. They will also provide guests with the codes for the gates to enter the property - both drive-through and walk through, pools, hot tubs, fitness center and the WiFi code which is changed monthly. It is a complex-wide WiFi system. The charge is $40 + tax and includes up to 2 parking permits. This is for stays that are up to 7 consecutive nights in duration. For stays of 8-31 days it is $80 + tax, and for extended stays it is $70 + tax per month. We are unable to collect this in advance and pay it to the Victorian on your behalf. We don’t get to make the rules, we just play by them!

There are several pay-per-use laundry facilities at the Victorian, these accept credit and debit cards as methods of payment.

Many of our owners have switched out to “Smart” TV’s – so bring your login information with you to sign in to your own subscription services, and don’t forget to log-out before leaving.

The Victorian complex does not allow renters to have a pet – so if you travel with Fido or Fifi – please check out the other My Galveston Getaway managed properties that ARE dog friendly. While true service animals are an exception – you very well may be asked by the complex to provide the verification. For short term rental/vacation purposes – emotional support animals are not considered true support animals and we are unable to make exceptions to a rule that is in place and enforced by a complex in which we manage condos. Kindly be respectful.

We strive for 5 star reviews at all times - and the first part of that is notifying everyone of every cost they may incur so that there are no surprises. If during your stay with us you find any reason that you are not able to rate our service and the property a 5 star review based upon the description of the property, that the pictures accurately depict the property, or our courteous service - please let us know and give us the opportunity to turn that frown upside down and EARN your 5 star review.


All properties managed by My Galveston Getaway are 100% non-smoking/non-vaping properties.

After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.

Galveston is a barrier island located in the Gulf of Mexico. The island is susceptible to rainstorms, thunderstorms and even a hurricane now and then. Sometimes these result in temporary power and WiFi outages. We strongly encourage our renters to consider purchasing trip interruption/cancellation protection either through the platform that you book through or some other source. My Galveston Getaway issues refunds if a governmental official issues a mandatory evacuation of the island. Unfortunately we are unable to control sunshine, temperatures and mosquitos and do not refund other than pursuant to our policy based on evacuation orders. Thank you for understanding.

Again – the parking/resort/amenities/facilities fee is one charged by the condominium complex, not by the owner of the condo or My Galveston Getaway and we appreciate your understanding.

For all reservations made directly through our website and through VRBO, there is a $300 security deposit “hold” required. You certainly can purchase trip cancellation/interruption coverage through those platforms as well if you so desire, this is a damage “deposit” hold. This is released once our housekeepers advise that the property has been left in the condition received with no damages occurring during your stay. This is not a charge, but a hold on the credit card on file with which the reservation is made. Should there be damages and they exceed $300 to repair or replace, you will be notified and asked to make arrangements to compensate for those items.

    The house was outdated. The toilet seat is unacceptable. The Surface Burner Coil Unit did not sit correctly. I must reseat it multiple times to make it work. These bath towels are dirty, and the primary bedroom smells terrible. One of the positive things about this house is that it is close to Walmart and the beach.

    The property was very nice. More spacious than a conventional hotel room, which doesn’t work well with 3 school age kids. The two pools were clean and just a 2 minute walk from the room. It's an older property and shows signs of its age (the elevator was slow and closed for maintenance one morning, but still got us up and down ok), but overall very nice. Just across from the beach, and every room has at least a partial ocean view.

    everything I needed was provided to start, from a simple toilet paper roll, to pool toys, towels, etc. The only thing I can say is that it needs a new sofa bed. I know they are not usually comfortable, but it kind of sank in. Thank you for everything, I will definitely stay here again.

    Old and unrenovated unlike the description when purchasing the rental. Hidden fees when checking in. $30 amenity and parking fee charged when checked in. Rental stated one car was free parking and none of the amenitites had a fee listed when rental purchase was made. No oven in condo.

    Place was a good location. Thank you for sharing your place. We enjoyed our visit and made more fun memories.Other reviews are still accurate about tub and such.Did not like that Vrbo did payment in 2 payments or that there was no free cancellation until a certain date. Lesson learned.. Next time I will find a place earlier.

    We stayed here for a couple nights before leaving for a cruise. The condo unit itself was clean, and had all the things we needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, it is located near the beach, restaurants, shopping … and when you factor in the onsite pools and hot tubs, this was a perfect location for us.

    My partner wanted to do some fishing, and I wanted some downtime. This place is perfect for that! He spent time looking for redfish. I ambled along the Seawall. The location was ideal, and the whole process very user friendly. Great place to stay!

    This unit could use some maintenance and updating. Overall not sparkling clean. Floors and balcony doors were dirty. A kuerig would be a great addition. All the basic amenities were available.
