Seagrove Dunes 2 - Beachfront, 30A, Pet Friendly, Close to Seaside and Seacrest!

We had a wonderful time. The location was great and the condo was comfortable. We hope to visit again.

Great location! Property is showing some age, but very comfy.unlike previous reviews, I thought it was well stocked with plates, etc. I always bring my own nonstick skillets. Saw a few bugs in the unit. Pet owners beware of the beach patrol. You will be given a $100 ticket for having your dog on the beach, even if it’s on a leash. Only county property owners are allowed to purchase a dog permit for beach access.

This is probably our eighth time staying here. The beach was actually busier than we recall it ever being for October which used to be “the off season”. Perhaps that’s a post COVID change. Also lots of construction going on and the old Seagrove is disappearing and becoming a mega mansion neighborhood. I hope some locals keep the old Florida feel for years to come. The weather was beautiful. So thankful for a private view of the gulf and space on the beach to relax.

Gorgeous beach view from balcony! Great location and amenities. Appreciated the communication with leasing property- all top notch. Only downside - this condo should be updated for the price. Lovely otherwise. Would recommend.

This is a wonderful property . Yes, it could use some updates, but we had a pleasant stay. The place was clean and comfortable. Didn’t have any issues . Wonderful beachfront and so centrally located in Seagrove. We’ll be back!

Fantastic view, well loved home, nicely appointed kitchen, & comfy clean beds & soft towels…perfect for me & my husband, and my sister…who appreciate the comfort & location of this rare gem!!! Ocean Reef’s communication, check/check out in policy and responsiveness to inquiries was amazing also!!!

The location of this condo is wonderful. We appreciated that it was dog friendly, but the equipment in the kitchen is the worst that I’ve ever seen in 50 years of renting condominiums. Major problem was there was an unbelievable amount of junk, for instance two coffee pots for which there were no coffee maker. Numerous corroded cooking pans and one that even had a broken handle. There was one microwavable coffee cup and no plates. The plates were stoneware that would burn your hand when your food was hot. There was one glass that was standard size. Otherwise there were a whole lot of cheap plastic cups. The two-slice toaster was rusted. There wasn’t a sharp knife. There were no hangers until we complained. In addition, at the entrance of the condo one of the planks was totally loose and the owner’s excuse was she couldn’t find anybody to reattach it. The roof is rotting on the overhang above the master bedroom. I don’t think Ocean Reef has any standards for rentals, unlike other management companies I have been involved with in Florida. If this acceptable to Ocean Reef we will not be using them in the future

The location of this property is ideal! The condo is on the beach and walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. The condo is older but very well maintained., nicely decorated, comfortable, clean, with everything needed for your stay. Would definitely stay here again!

The 2 stars I’m giving for this vacation rental is strictly for the location and the condo being oceanfront - that was the best part! While this condo has probably been very loved, as mentioned in previous reviews, it seriously needs renovated. Condo was not clean upon arrival, carpet and couch were wet to the point that we had to place a sheet on the couch to sit on it and our socks were soaked after walking on the carpet. There was also a musty smell and I had to purchase wall plugins to get rid of this smell. There was also one night that my family and I spent killing bugs. I am well aware that there will be bugs, I’ve been experienced this with other locations but I feel that it was especially worse at this rental. WiFi that was provided was incorrect/not listed as an option while attempting to use it. There was mold on one of the shower curtains, there was a chair that was broken and should’ve been replaced, and a pot that had a rusted handle that broke off after using which could have seriously injured someone, the washer had a ton of sand in it and was not cleaned out after last use, and the dryer did not stop spinning when it was opened. I was in another Ocean Reef vacation rental with other family members who stayed down at the same time as us and there condo was spectacular! I think as a company all of your properties should be held to the same standard and it appears they are not. Would not stay at this rental again unless serious changes/renovations are made and your company re-evaluates their process of cleaning properties.
