Sea Gypsy Review – Room 315 The room itself was fine overall, but there are definitely some areas that need attention. The mattresses were uncomfortable, and every movement caused the whole bed to shake, which made it hard to sleep. It also got very hot at night — opening the window helped, but then we had to deal with noise from outside. Screens on the ocean-facing windows would be a big improvement. We also noticed the siding under our window was crumbling, which didn’t leave the best impression. Interior maintenance was disappointing and really needs to be addressed. Bathroom vents were loosely attached with paper towels to keep them from rattling, and one wasn’t even set flush — you could see right into the ceiling. Several lightbulbs were burned out, and towel bars were missing in the main bathroom. Cleanliness also fell short. Some dishes were put away wet with food still on them, and the coffee pot still had old coffee and grounds left in it. Supplies were minimal as well — we only had one garbage bag for four people over a four-night stay. While we understand that condos often require guests to bring some of their own items, basics like extra garbage bags are something we’ve come to expect from most vacation rentals. This condo has a lot of potential, but it really needs some updates and better attention to detail to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

This is a lovely property. You can't beat the view! The accommodations were very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment to prepare your own meals. There were a couple of minor things that need fixing, but nothing that had a major impact on our stay. I would definitely stay there again.

Loved every aspect of it. The decor was perfect, everything clean and organized. Very happy with the experience. My most sincere thanks to the host.

The room could definitely use an upgrade. Shower heads old fashioned hotel heads, needs new shower curtain hooks. Living room curtains need replaced with rods or maybe clean off the rust. Stove felt like getting ready to go out. Provided pans need replaced. Carpet is very old. I definitely got what i paid for but no more. Hopefully the owner can show that room some much needed love.

It wasn’t explained to us that our option was on the third floor until after we had finished the paperwork. The paperwork asks for our age so it stands to reason that the ascending and descending the steps might be a problem. It wasn’t this time. I suggest they install an elevator. Otherwise awesome!!!

The stay was lovely in every way. Especially loved the beach view from the dining table!The pluses: top level quiet unit…steps from the beach…comfortable beds…extra towels… beach chairs and toys …well stocked kitchen…again…the view!Easy check in and good communication with the host.Thank you for a beautiful spring break stay!

Enjoyed the ocean view. Beds were comfy and it was nice having 2 bathrooms.

Thinking about our recent stay and walking in the door....our first impression was AHHHHHH so theraputic to have that lovely room right on the beachfront. Comfy bed and great water pressure in the shower. Loved it! 5 Golden Stars

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a wonderful location, easy check in, friendly owner, room had everything we needed. Only issue is that the room needs some upgrades/repairs/improvements. The towels had stains and holes in it.The first night, the towels rack fell off because the unit and bracket are mismatched. I put it back on but needed to use the door hooks after. The carpet needs to be replaced, it is unhealthy to breathe that. The main bathroom fan was very loud and scary so we didn't use it. For the overall cleanliness and location and easy of check in and communication with owner we would like to stay again but we didn't feel clean there with those issues.

Loved the condo. Immediately notice the direct beach and ocean view when walking into the living room.The building sits next to the D river, which many beach-goers weren't crossing. So the south side beach had a scattering of people, the north side (that this condo is located on) was practically empty. (This trip was in early April, so YMMV.)Owner/management had great communication and was responsive.

My kids and I stayed a few nights and loved the location. It was perfect to have access to the pool when the weather wasnt so great. Also loved having a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out for all our meals. We will definitely be back!

A girls weekend and was not disappointed. Close to everything, shopping, restaurants and beach access. The Condo was a great size and has a beautiful view. Patty was also amazing in communication with details of the Condo and access to Condo. Definitely will stay again.

As advertised, very enjoyable stay right on the beach.

We weee very content. We have stayed at the Sea Gypsy several time and this home met all of our needs.

Patty was awesome, very responsive! The property was as described and then some! We appreciated the beach toys and camp chairs available for use! Would definitely recommend, and look forward to staying there again!

First off, the room was done being cleaned after 4 pm! Second 4pm is way too late of a check in time! 2pm should be check in! We were also told that there were 2 bedrooms!!! I made sure 4 or 5 separate times of making sure it had 2 BEDROOMS, SEVERAL TIMES! I feel I was COMPLETELY LIED TO ABOUT THE BEDROOM SITUATION! FLAT OUT! This rooms bathroom had stains in the sink and getting the front shower to turn on had no instructions on how to turn the shower on! The back rooms bathroom had instructions but not the front shower?! The bathroom looked dirty when the maid was done and only 1 towel was left on the towel rack?! We made due because there were no other rooms available but the experience was less than desirable! Very very very outdated room!

We had a quiet and relaxing stay and enjoyed watching the tides rise and fall from the top floor window. The kitchen had us covered for making meals but we also enjoyed walking to nearby restaurants. It’s perfect for walking the beach right from the condo. Thank you!
