Sea Colony oceanfront condo with private balcony, shared pools, & gym

Condo looks MUCH better in person- it is an old condo complex where a lot of condos are being remodeled.Ocean view from deck is fantastic and literally steps away from beach entrance once you go downstairs and around pool. I would definitely stay here again.

Just wanted a nice quiet getaway for our anniversary. We booked 30 days ahead (Vacasa) and were paid in full when we were informed that there would be work on the deck outside and we would have to use a different pool. Two days before we were informed that an inspector would be coming into the property while we were there. When we arrived, we were informed by a surly desk clerk at Vacasa that all the that the indoor amenities listed (pools, gym, sauna) were unavailable at the time. We had pre-paid for tags to access all these amenities. Property was in a great spot, overlooking the ocean. The rooms were shabby, with minimal lighting, one light was literally a bare bulb.The glass doors were rusted and didn't slide properly and the electric blind on the right side was inoperable and stuck in the closed position obscuring the million dollar view. WiFi didn't work. We contacted guest services (a really nice guy who worked in the laundry who fixed the WiFi), and he said someone would come and fix the blind. Never happened. We have stayed at Sea Colony many times and this has never happened before. We felt totally ripped off and won't be using VRBO, Vacasa, or Sea Colony again.

Nice place & location for a quick getaway.

We had a great time! The unit was great for a family of 3 with a toddler in a pack and play. We were close to the beach access and the pools, as well as many restaurants. The unit is a little out dated but everything worked well and we didn’t have any issues with anything. We would recommend adding a real broom or a dust buster to help with the sand, as the tile in the unit plus a toddler makes the sand travel very easily!

We love this space at Sea Colony. The proximity to the beach and pool are perfect for kids. Great view from the deck. Will definitely book again in the future!

There is a handicap ramp and several steps to go up to the condo. It was not a problem for us but could be for someone with mobility issues. Very clean!

We are an older couple and it was a last minute decision to go for two nights. Our stay was pleasant, but I wouldn't have wanted to stay for our usual beach week. We handled the stairs and ramp, but luckily our friend who has difficulty walking didn't come at the last minute. The location and amenities were excellent, but the apartment is showing its age. We're pretty relaxed so didn't get excited that the sliding door didn't lock even though we were on the first floor. If nothing else were available, we'd stay here again.

Location and views

Was going to load the dish washer but it was full of water and the right side sink drain backed up. Other then that, everything else worked out great.
