Sea Colony oceanfront 2nd floor condo w/ free WiFi, shared sauna, and pool

Sea Colony is a near-perfect location in Bethany Beach, with its own shuttle service, private beach, and complement of indoor and outdoor pools and activities. We’ve stayed here several times and love the facilities. Sadly, this particular unit is in need of some TLC, especially in the bathrooms and kitchen supplies, but the rest of the resort is still a treat.

Property was dated, bathroom drain in sink didn’t work.

The unit was recently renovated and in great condition. It overlooks a courtyard patio and is very peaceful. Walking distance to several popular restaurants.

Sea Colony is amazing for families. Unit was clean and comfortable.

We loved our time here. The proximity to the beach, the pool, the staff at both aforementioned were wonderful. The unit we stayed in was wonderful.

I will only give 3stars due to the fact the condo was not cleaned before we walked in. The space was great, exactly as described. Only problem with the condo was that I had to clean it before bringing in my bags in.

This place was super clean and had everything we needed! It was one floor away from the walkway to the pool and beach. The upgrade was done so nicely and the owners helped us in so many ways! We’ll be back again!

Nice to be inside Sea Colony and enjoy all the amenities. 4 th of July fireworks were superb and we could watch them from the beach.

The four of us stayed for 3 nights at the end of Aug 2021 - two adults, two small kids. We found all the basics covered, and kids found plenty of things to play with in the condo during the hotter portions of the day. The balcony is large, which was fun for them. It's a kilometer to Bethany Beach main street (perhaps a 10-15min walk). It was a minor pain that the community is gated, so you couldn't just take a straight path along the street - have to walk out from the gate through the parking lot, then along a short stretch near the road where there's no sidewalk. Or, can walk straight along the beach - that is great. Only improvements I can think of, that are all small: Salt, pepper, sugar and oil for the kitchen Blu-ray players instead of DVD A knife sharpener (dull knives :)) But everything that we think really essential for a stay was there: - enough beds - linens aplenty - tea kettle - 2 screens with a couple fun DVDs (we watched Despicable Me, didn't try to turn on cable TV) - washer/dryer - excellent AC - very easy check-in process

We loved the convenience and cleanliness of the unit. Not having a view of the ocean was a negative but since we had 4 days of sunshine and beach time, it was negligible.
