THINGS TO KNOW
Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.
The Sea Colony Recreational Association requires a per-person resort fee for guests ages four years and older. This fee varies by time of year and is mandatory.
There will be nearby construction now through Mid-May, 2024. There will be noise, but the unit will be accessible at all times. Please use caution when entering the building and obey signage.
Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 7.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
We loved that we were walking distance to town, the drugstore and other close by restaurants. Being steps from the ocean was perfect!
Location was excellent - close to all of the Sea Colony amenities as well as within walking distance to many local restaurants and attractions.
The balcony was lovely with a view of the ocean. However despite the listing as no pets there was definite evidence of a cat with a scratch scroll/cat scratcher in the living room. A real risk for those with allergies to animals.
We had a nice stay in this condo and found most everything we needed. The shortcomings were that the shower curtain was mildewed and smelled and the shower handle kept falling off. Oddly, the primary bathroom didn’t have an air conditioning vent so it was quite warm in there. Also, the kitchen was unorganized. I would have organized it myself but I was busy with my grandchildren and didn’t get around to it. Overall, a nice enough unit which will be great once they upgrade the bathrooms.
The unit is really nice. Very spacious, comfortable, and modern design. The view and sound of the ocean is fantastic--and can see and hear from the kitchen! Kitchen had all appliances/dishware we needed--very well stocked. Lots of games and books. We were there for a week with our 2 elementary aged kids and it worked great. Master bedroom is huge and very comfortable. Master bath could use a bit more updating to match the style of the unit, but did the job. Overall, we absolutely loved the unit and our trip to Bethany. Sea Colony was perfect for us. The grounds are extremely well-kept. The parking spot is perfectly located--right next to the elevator and also right at the bottom of the beach ramp, so we used our trunk as a beach gear locker and never dragged our sandy stuff up to the unit! We had a great time and I totally recommend this unit and Bethany in general for a simple, quiet and fun family vacation!
Beautifully remodeled and up to date appliances. Couldn’t asked for a better unit at Sea Colony. I highly recommend this unit!
