The directions and the communication was fine. The apartment was as pictured. The unit did not have full sets of dishes, glasses or utensils. There was a tiny bottle of dish soap and some pads for the dishwasher but aside from that, no cleaning supplies, no vacuum, broom etc. I requested a broom as we had a pet but they would not provide one, so I bought a broom and donated it to the place. Staying for 2 weeks without cleaning and being able to sweep mop, wipe down glass surfaces, kind of sucked. I was charged 45 for breaking 2 glasses (not true) and for staining a beach towel with a dab of blue ink. The bed which is metal, squeaks. If you like a firm mattress it will do. The veranda furniture is not comfortable but the veranda does get nice sun around 1030am -1 pm. We do not smoke. There was a complaint of a strange smell and they asked if maintenance people could come in. We allowed it. Then again they asked for a three hour period to have the kitchen sink disposal removed. We allowed it. That took 4 hours. Then there was a NO smoking note left on our door. Then a couple days later, there was another request to enter to examine the smoke detectors. It was weird!I own a rental and have 3 units. This seemed excessive. I asked it that could wait until we left. Again, this apartment was comfortable enough but expensive and all I can say is ODD. I am meticulous about my living space and I am offended that I did not get my full deposit back.

We arrived and the air conditioning was not working. In Scottsdale. We called the host. He said we had to call the building manager. Seriously? We tried and got no where. We finally got the host to do something the next day but we had to call VRBO to get any action. It worked the next day. There was no WiFi password left. Nothing. No welcome like we are used to finding. The floors were damaged and dirty. I have pictures. The bathroom vanity was so damaged from water it looked likeThe front was going to fall off. The entire unit was like that. There was a hole in the wall of the bathroom. It was a very run down place. My feet were black from walking around the bedroom while I hung up my clothes. The carpet in the bedroom was wrinkled, dirty and old. The bed was junkie. We were there to sleep while my fiancés father was in hospice. After the stay the host accused us of stealing the pool key. There was NO pool key and we wouldn’t have used it if there had been. It cost us an extra 200! The moral of this story is if it seems too good to be true, it is!

The apartment was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Great location, easy walking to shops and restaurants. We could also walk to old town. altoWstockedstocomm
