Stayed Jul 25, 2025We mainly chose this as a homebase for a trip w friends who live near Torch and Elk. It was nice and dark for good sleep. We ended up carving time to enjoy some of the amenities on the property - disc golf, tennis, and pools.

Stayed May 24, 2024This place is AMAZING. The property was VERY CLEAN. Had everything you needed plus more. Very peaceful & a BEAUTIFUL VIEW! The host Connie was on point with answering any of my questions & accommodating our needs. Very nice lady! We will definitely be back in the winter! We have absolutely NO complaints! Stayed Sep 2, 2023This property is newly renovated and extremely clean. I loved there was ice in the freezer on arrival. Everything we needed was supplied, even made a crockpot meal after a long day on Torch Lake.

Stayed Aug 18, 2023This is a great place to stay and play. We started out our vacation in Shanty Creek Crosswinds and ended the weekend in Schuss. The owner is great she had prompt responses to concerns regarding the unit. The unit itself recently updated very clean. Appliances are in best condition I've seen at any condo rental we have been vacationing in Shanty for years. The pool is indoor but the doors open to the outside. The lodge is very tired in need of updating.

Stayed Jul 2, 2023This place was beautiful. Everything we needed was provided for us. The location was centrally located to everything we wanted to do on vacation. The owner was awesome. The was a little mix up on my part and she did everything to make it all work out for us! We will definitely be back!

Stayed Feb 24, 2023The unit is freshly redone. Radiant floor heating, brand new kitchen, tile floors, furniture, etc. It had only been rented a few times and the owner has yet to put up coat and ski racks. We talked to him and those are coming soon. The only issue we had was a lack of hot water on 2 of the nights of our stay, but the final night was OK. We talked to the owner about it- I suspect there are still some kinks being worked out but I wouldn't let that scare you away. The location can not be beat! Would definitely stay here again.
