IMO, this place is a time capsule to the 80's. All appliances are functional. The beds are just okay. The bedroom carpet, walls, bed covers and furniture are all worn and could benefit from and upgrade. Internet connection frequently drops. The beach access is easy and just across the street. Lots of street noise. The pool is kept clean. Parking is tight. The kitchen knives are dull. Having an in unit W/D & elevator is a plus. No cart to bring things up from the car.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I have been using Garden City realty for about 15 years and have had great service however this year we were very disappointed Jackie and Robin did a great job helping us The condo we had chosen had water damage and was not available we understand things happen with Robins help we chose to move from a ocean view to a condo across the road with beach access the pictures did not look anything like the condo we had to call maintenance the first day about the TV which he got us straightened out we had issues with the door unlocking on 3 different occasions which was fixed the refrigerator and freezer wouldn’t cool maintenance came couldn’t repair so it was replaced Thursday we will continue to use Garden City realty however I don’t think some kind of compensation would be unwarranted thank you JT Marsh

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Garden city realty never disappoints in quality or pricing. They’re always our first look when booking a stay here. The condo itself is in a great location right across the street from the beach access and has an ocean view. The decor is dated and I have to say the beds were uncomfortable in this particular rental. But overall we had a wonderful week!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is showing its age and that is ok, we knew that when we rented, I don't care as much about that stuff as location, etc. You know its outdated when renting however, I didn't expect to have to plunge the toilets once a day (sometimes 2) or have gray water come out of bath tub everytime I turned it on and black build up pieces coming out either...THAT needs fixed. Not the owners fault, they seem more systemic than anything else, while we were there it rained, there was a drain in the middle of the courtyard, it was clogged and had standing water over it for hours/overnight after the storm...that is a systemic problem that needs taken care of. The pool needs maintained a little better, several days of cloudy water but otherwise, the location was awesome, beds were comfy, it suited our needs just fine and the price fit the outdatedness, etc. I would stay here again but will ask Garden City Realty if such has been fixed first...

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the first vacation I have ever had to wait in a long line to check in. The house seemed sanitary, which is the most important consideration, but there was a lot of dust above the bathroom mirror, and the oven was dirty. The stove was so old, that the bottom was rusty. The dishwasher was also very old. Both seemed to be from the 80s. When you run the dishwasher or washer, forget watching TV, for the noise. The pans and skillets need updated and there should be more to choose from. Both single beds were extremely uncomfortable and tipped (flew up in the air) if you sat down too close to the end. The bedspreads were very outdated and faded, as was the wallpaper in the living room/kitchen area. I didn’t complain, because, as I stated before, the place appeared sanitary and a little dust doesn’t hurt. We did, however, run any dish, utensil, pot, pan, and glass we planned to use through the dishwasher first, as all had a greasy film to them, like they had not been washed or used for a long time. We also had to sanitize the cabinets and drawers we planned to utilize before placing dishes back inside, as they too had a layer of grease on them. On a positive note, and what made the stay great, was the unit’s proximity to the beach. You can be on the sand in a minute or two. Be aware the pool is chained/locked by 9:00 PM, which isn’t even total darkness. That was very upsetting for a summer vacation, as my teen son and his friend would have used the pool when they left the beach. It certainly isn’t because of noise, because the area was loud until about 1:00 AM, and the other Sandy Shores buildings kept their pools open late. Also, some nights I worried I couldn’t find a parking spot. Often, people had to park in the no parking zone to find a place. Also, there are no golf carts allowed, due to limited parking, yet some girls had a large cart in a spot one afternoon, which I noticed from the balcony. If you have a truck or SUV

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location , but unit 109 needs a lot of renavating . The appliances ,first the stove has lots of rust . The door on the dishwasher just about broke my foot when it fell hitting the ground . Exhaust fan in master bedroom didn't work and air vents were rusty . The main door you can see day light between jamb and door . Cleaning wise needs improvement. I would try and consider doing business with Garden Realty again but not in a unit that has his many issues .

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Week was good, I love Garden City Beach, I just wish the condo would’ve been in better condition. Would definitely rent from Garden City realty again, but not this property. It was old and outdated, beds extremely uncomfortable, dining room table and chair in awful shape. Stove is rotted and disgusting. Price should have been 1/2 of what it was considering the shape in which the condo is in.
