Enjoy the beautiful views of the pier and beach from Sandpiper 303, an updated oceanfront condo located right on the Strand on the South end of Tybee. Convenient location near the pier, restaurants, shopping, and the main beach. Guests will enjoy a well-appointed kitchen, including all appliances and a dishwasher.

The living area includes a sleeper sofa and a flat-screen TV and a dining table seating 6. There is additional seating at the breakfast bar for 2. Enjoy the ocean breezes and gorgeous views from your private furnished balcony, which is accessible from the bedroom and living room.

Bedroom 1 is furnished with a King-size bed and a flat-screen TV. The attached bath has a double sink, separate tub, and shower. Bedroom 2 is furnished with a King-size bed, and Bedroom 3 has 2 Twin-size beds. This property is handicap-friendly (elevator, not ADA compliant). The building has a private, gated parking garage below the building. Each unit has two assigned parking spaces. This condo is pet-friendly, for 1 dog, with an additional fee.

About the Sandpiper Condos: This oceanfront gated condo building is located on the Strand, on the South end of Tybee Island. Situated in the heart of the South end commercial district, just steps from the beach, Tybee Pier, restaurants, and shopping.

The Sandpiper Condo building is separated by a public parking lot from the beach and is in-between two popular Tybee restaurants, Fannie's on the Beach and Spanky's Beachside, both sometimes offer live entertainment. The oceanfront units are premier rentals for some of Tybee's events and fireworks shows on July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, and New Year's Eve.

NOTE: Larger SUV's may not fit in parking space- especially during peak/ high seasons.

    Extremely disappointing. As a previous review stated- there is mold in the unit. I questioned this when I saw the comment and was guaranteed the mold had been remediated which was untrue. The floors were filthy and our shoes stuck to them. I notified the mgmt company of this, along with the fact that we didn’t have pillow cases, and that the elevator did not work within about an hour of checking in and none of the issues were resolved. In one of the bedrooms the chains had been removed from the light/fan so there was no way to turn the light off and keep the fan on. All the blinds in the master had the poles removed so you couldn’t open them. This was also the most poorly stocked place we’ve ever stayed. We love Tybee and can’t wait to return, but there is zero chance of us rebooking this unit.

    We LOVE the location of the property. It was nicely furnished, cozy, and very clean. Check in and out was a breeze! Only one thing we can think of, is the mattresses in each room are super hard. A plus if you love a firm night's sleep, but just a little too much for us. Also, the elevator wont go to the 3rd floor, but we didn't consider that a fault to the owner at all. Was no problem using it to grt to 2nd floor, then one set of stairs. We enjoyed our stay very much, and sure we will be back!

    Pros-Overall we enjoyed our stay. The place was nice and spacious. It was close to what we wanted. Cons-Entire toilet was loose. Toilet paper was very cheap. You can’t turn the ac below 70 and there was mold in places there should not have been.

    I liked the location of the property with it being just steps from the beach. No need to drive at all once we were there and did not have to move our vehicle at all. There was also beach equipment which came in handy not having to buy them; we just brought our umbrella. Having younger children it was nice to be so close to the beach and restaurants. The 3rd bedroom didn't have cable access so my son had to use his switch to connect for shows. The appliances really needed upgrading (dishwasher, washer, dryer) but we didn't stay long and ate out a lot. There was not a large enough pot to steam seafood so we know to bring one next time. I really appreciated the pet friendliness and no extra charge for my pet.

    Location across from the beach and views of the ocean were amazing. Property was not well cleaned (our feet turned black walking around the condo), the screen door fell off when trying to use it and the trim adjacent to it wasn’t attached to anything, Wi-Fi goes in and out every minute or two, couches are stained and torn, bathroom fixtures need repair, and the front door lock had the battery die which left the door unlocked for several hours, and other minor issues throughout. Place could really use updates and minor repairs. Property manager was very responsive and tried to address issues. The only issue there was their maintenance person entered our condo without knocking and walked into the living room which was not ok. They offered to give us an extra night due to all the issues but our kids were ready to be home so we didn’t take advantage, we asked if we could have our current stay discounted and they simply ignored the question….

    The location was great. Within walking distance to stores and restaurants. We were on the 3rd floor directly across from the beach. Beautiful views and super easy access to the beach. Balcony seated 4 people and had a table and chairs for breakfast or relaxing. The management staff was wonderful. However the unit was not well cleaned or in as good of condition as we had hoped. Dirt and wrappers under bed and dressers, coffee maker was not cleaned from previous renters. Wine glasses had lip prints on them indicating they were not clean. We had to run all plates and glasses thru dishwasher before we could use them. Couch was ripped on the cushion and a chair was missing from dining table. Hair dryer was not working. Management company immediately brought over a new one to replace the hair dryer and bought us breakfast for all of the inconvenience. While the unit needs better cleaning and an update, we were not in it much and the location made up for the disrepair and lack of cleaning.

    We stayed for 2 nights and had the whole place to ourselves. The price was basically the same as a nearby beach front ocean view room. I am so glad we stayed here. We were much closer to the beach, to the action and to our surprise it was really quiet at night. Clean place, a few tired furniture pieces but it is a rental. Kitchen was in clean good order. We needed a mid size pot, and a cheese grater during our visit which they didn’t have, but small potatoes. The view and high top table from the balcony were great. Lots of clean linens, soap, sponge for sink, paper towel etc. Gated, private parking, easy access codes for everything, secure feeling, clean grounds and front of building. Easy to work with management company. Only thing that needs attention is the caulk in the master shower and the shower floor. In that climate mold grows fast and left for even a short time it is ugly. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend #303 for anyone wanting an ocean front place to stay.
