Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, seasonally-heated swimming pool (The pool is generally heated from March 1 to November 30, weather permitting) and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own.

Stayed May 22, 2026Great place...we had 7 people comfortably with 6 of us sharing beds. Make sure to bring some extra linens if you dont want to wash towels everyday. Right on the beach, nice pool, very convenient location.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the condo was “clean” but we did find some dead bugs on the floor, food on the bedroom floor, dust in corners. The tub looked like it could use a good scrub. Overall it was picked up but could use a deep clean. Also it would be nice if there were washcloths in the kitchen, there are none provided. The dryer also does not dry the clothes very well, it takes 2-3 cycles.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had another wonderful week at Sandpiper Condominiums in Gulf Shores. Our condo was nice. The kitchen was well equipped. The TVs were small but fine for the week, and offered all of the services we use. The master bed, however, was the worst mattress we've ever slept on. Neither of us got a full night of sleep all week. The water pressure left a lot to be desired as well. We have stayed at Sandpiper at least 10 times in the past 19 years and it will continue to be our *home* in Gulf Shores!
