Lovely walk to the beach. Wonderful place to stay. Great for 2 people maybe with 2 children.

This is a nice little family place with a well stocked kitchen and nice washer and dryer.

Had a great time in this rental. Good location with an easy walk to the beach. Owner had everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. I would easily recommend this as an excellent place to stay.

Relaxing stay at this condo on South Forest Beach. It was a short walk to the beach. Really enjoyed renting a bicycle and biking all over Hilton Head Island.

We were pleased with the location, which is only a short walk to what we found at the time to be a quiet section of South Forest Beach. We always enjoy walking once we're settled in, so we made the trip by foot from the condo to Coligny Plaza several times--about a ten-minute and quite pleasant stroll in late afternoons and early evenings. The Dunes community pool is only feet away from the condo. The condo was clean, fresh, and easily accessible. The owners thought of everything their guests might have needed for a hassle-free stay. The brand new, high-quality washer/dryer was perfect for us as we tend to pack light for long trips. The condo complex was quiet, safe, and tucked away conveniently from the summertime high-traffic areas. The beds made for a week's worth of good night's sleep, and all furniture was comfy, which helped us feel as if we were not trapped in a typical cramped, multistory space but free to enjoy the roominess of the front TV setting or to find a quiet reading nook in one of the two spacious bedrooms. The owners are very nice people who went out of their way to accommodate VRBO first-timers. We had several questions on day one, and our questions were answered promptly and most courteously. All in all, we couldn't have been happier with everything--our first VRBO experience, the condo owners, and the condo itself. We are already considering a two-week stay here if available next summer. I would have likely given this property 3 stars. It is, as described, close to the beach, Coligny circle, etc. While the pool is a bit dilapidated and the condo is fine, there is nothing luxurious or amazing about it. It was clean and had adequate kitchen utensils; it appears that the owners recently put in a washer/dryer unit. However, I noticed upon cooking our first meal that there was glass in the garbage disposal from a previous tenant. I promptly notified the owner and mentioned that it didn’t need to be fixed on our account, as we were only there for the weekend. After I left, I received a message that she was holding our deposit as she blamed us for the broken glass. I don’t blame her for trying to get money for what is obviously an expensive fix. I do take issue with the fact that I exercised due diligence in contacting her, alerting her to issues that happened before our arrival and am still being charged. She says there are instructions to report damages - they’re aren’t. I’ve waited 24 hours to write this review in an effort to reach an agreement with the owner to no avail. So, buyer beware. There are plenty of properties in HH (including in this complex) and I would recommend saving yourself the hassle and booking elsewhere.

Great experience. Place was very clean and accommodating. Good location and was nice being on first floor and next to the pool.
