Stayed Feb 11, 2023The residence has a great view overlooking the bay. It is a ten minute walk down to the lovely village. I walked everyday to the bakery. If a person is in poor health, the steep walk back (up the hill) would be difficult. A car would be required back to the parking lot. The kitchen is outdoor ... meaning there are birds. You will have to keep the area clean. We enjoyed the village ... close to Salines (our favorite beach) and closer to the city beach/ next to Club Med. The pool was maintained everyday and it was never crowded. We were there over Mardi Gras weekend and the city was alive ... Sainte-Anne is very safe ... you can walk everywhere. Numerous food choices in the village and a daily market ... bigger market on Saturday. Our host, Virginie, was very responsive and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. The shower was powerful and a pleasure ... we stayed previously in St Martin and had no water to little water pressure. The Anoli Lodges were well maintained and surrounded by beautiful landscapes.
