Riverside Condo - minutes from GSMNP

Host was very proactive with communication regarding check in. A little dated, but very clean and comfortable. Peaceful setting with balcony overlooking river. Quiet location. Fully equipped and stocked.

This unit was clean and fully equipped. The beds were so comfortable! We loved watching the river and wildlife from our balcony. Our host was easy to work with. I highly recommend this rental.

The online description of the property from every perspective is very true. We love this place and will choose this place next time when we visit Smokies.

This was a very clean and cozy apartment, the views of the river were great. The onsite laundry and kitchen were great.

We were in town for a wedding at Cades Cove and this property was perfect. The place was clean and tidy and met all of our needs for the weekend. We would definitely stay again.

The host was very nice and welcoming and gave great instructions for accessing the unit. The unit was perfect for what we needed to celebrate Christmas with family. 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths. Close access to the river to do some fishing.

We enjoyed the area. There were several restaurants nearby and it was very close to Great Smokey Mountain Nstionsl Park, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Communication with the host was helpful and it was easy to find. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo location was perfect for us. We brought our bikes and were able to ride the bike trail and around the neighborhood. Easy access to the IGA, coffee shops, restaurants, and our personal favorite—The Peaceful Side Social. Very quiet and peaceful overlook of the river. This is an end unit with second floor entry. You’ll have one floor of outside stairs and then another flight inside to the bedrooms. Not challenging, but important to consider when booking.The condo was very clean and comfortable. It’s a little outdated, but it’s an older building and you could tell that they have updated the things that matter. Full size washer & dryer in unit was nice to have.The master bedroom had its own balcony overlooking the river. It was a wonderful perk. The bed is a bit on the firm side. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. One with tub and other with stand up shower.Last minute booking for us and everything was easy from booking to check in to check out.

Comfortable beds, great location.

This was the perfect place to stay in Townsend! It's easy access to the Great Smokey Mountains--Cades Cove is a favorite spot of mine. The owner is amazing and friendly, and the condo is gorgeous.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Riverside Condo. The location is a 10/10. It is easy to walk to multiple dinner locations, the grocery store, and the coffee shop. We loved having the river outside our door and easy access to walking and bike paths. The condo was clean, and communication with the host was excellent. I recommend this condo.

We came for just 2 nights for some hiking and catching up with family. Spent both evenings on the balcony enjoying the view of the water and the sounds of bugs and birds and the breeze. The condo had everything we could have needed and then some. We will be back

My friend and I were here for our high school reunion and this place had a lovely view of the river and was minutes away from great restaurants

Hidden gem! Place was clean and cozy. Loved watching the people float by on inner tubes in the river behind the condo.

This was our second stay here (we tried last year but it was already booked) and we hope to return next summer!

Loved the balconies overlooking the Little River, very serene, quiet, peaceful. Kitchen tiny but workable; just right for us. Pots and pans could be upgraded. Storm door on front really needs to be repaired. Bathrooms and bedrooms very nice

Chose this condo in Townsend for price and accessibility to The Shed. Overall good visit. Sitting on the back deck looking at the river was wonderful. Will book again.

The picture from the balcony was spot on! Enjoyed sitting there having coffee in the mornings. Place was quite and peaceful.

We had a great time at the Bigfoot festival and spending the weekend in this condo. It was hard to find it first, but when I reread the directions from the owner, it made perfect sense. The sign for Riverside village needs to be a little closer to the road so that it can be seen at night. Spotless clean, kitchen will equipped, and plenty of room for all four of us to sit and relax. Great time! If we come to Townsend again we will certainly consider staying here.

This condo was in a great location with convenient access to Great Smoky Mountain NP and what was not to like about the stream. The layout was great and the furnishing were perfect for us. I would have given it a five star rating but there were no wash cloths, dish towels and the unit needs some minor repairs. We look forward to returning and staying here again!

The condo was clean, well equipped for our needs, and extremely well located for all our needs. Our only complaints, and they're minor ones, were that the beds were too soft for our aging and arthritic backs. We weren't able to sleep well. For younger people, this probably would not have been an issue.

Really enjoyed the view from the second floor deck overlooking Little River. Perfect for birding at tree level. Saw bald eagle, merganzer, king fisher, wood duck, to name a few. The condo was clean, comfortable, and adequately stocked. We’d stay again.

We loved the condo’s location, so close to the park, yet away from the crowds and congestion of Gatlinburg. Condo was clean and fully equipped. Highly recommend and would stay there again

Really pretty place in the perfect location!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property in Townsend. Condo was very clean and well maintained, and loved being so close to the park. Wendy was very helpful and responsive when we got in to town as well! We spent a lot of time out hiking the mountain trails, exploring a cave, horseback riding, wildlife and bird watching, and made a couple treks out to Pigeon Forge and Maryville for some nearby eats and entertainment. When we would come back for the evening, it was a comfortable stay and also enjoyed mornings on the balcony overlooking the river. We also loved the town of Townsend and how it really lives up to being the peaceful side of the Smokies. We made some wonderful family memories on this vacation: Highly recommend! Thank you!

Did a lot of hiking and enjoyed the quietness of Townsend TN!!

Completely my fault but I failed to check accessibility! We both have had knee replacements, one just a few months ago. So all the stairs were quite a problem for us. Loved the rocking chairs overlooking the river. Love Townsend

This Condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Wendy was an exceptional hostess and answered all our questions. We were right on the river and it was so nice to sit on the patio and watch the river flow past. We will be back.

Very quite neighborhood. The river flowing past is an excellent way to sit and relax.

The property is a little tricky to find. The first landmark that Wendy sent to me in an email is hard the see from the highway. Something a little closer to the road would be easier to spot. Otherwise, I have no complaints about our stay on the property.

Loved our stay here. This was our 3rd time staying here. Always a great experience. We actually got to see a bear by the River time.

Property is on a peaceful river with beautiful views. Well equipped kitchen. Owner is very responsive. We checked in and the cleaning had not been finished (beds not made and vacuum not run). I blame this on the cleaning service. Owner did send them right out but we had to wait a couple of hours for him to finish. We had an issue with the door locking early one morning as we left for Cades Cove but the owner was able to remotely lock it a little while after we left. Sofa could stand to be replaced but other furnishings are nice. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would return!

We came to Townsend for a wedding and the location was perfect for the wedding venue. The area is nicknamed the peaceful side and we found the area, which is just outside Smokey Mountain National Park, and the condo itself to be very quiet and peaceful. The condo had everything we needed and the two balconies overlooking the Little River we very tranquil and relaxing as we listened to and watched nature. One highlight was seeing a Heron being chased by a Bald Eagle, which was being chased by a group of crows. It was only the second time we'd seen a Bald Eagle in the wild. We had a very pleasant stay.

Good property centrally located to our event and short drive to many attractions.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Location was perfect. Central to so many things! The unit was spacious, spotless & well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were super comfortable. The hosts were very communicative, and provided so much information ahead of time. I 110% would stay here again, and highly recommend it!

The condo is as advertised. Clean bedroom, bathrooms, and kitchen. Pack-and-play in second bedroom made it easy for our one year old to sleep here. Appreciate the kitchen was stocked with coffee and tea! Quick ride to Smokey Mountains National Park.

The location just off highway was easy, especially after dark. The condo was clean with everything needed for a relaxing weekend stay. The balcony overlooking the river was nice with a great view. Communication and checkin was a piece of cake with Wendy providing all needed information. We look forward to staying here again on the quiet side of the mountain in Townsend.

Great property with access to little Pigeon River. Very close to River Rat tubing . Great location if you are visiting Townsend. Equipped with everything needed for a great stay. Great communication and very accomodating.

The condo is very nice, plenty of space for 4 people. Right by the river the view is beautiful. It was easy to access national park from there. I would definitely recommend Peaceful Side Social. You can walk over. They have a great atmosphere and food.

This is our second year staying at this condo and we are already planning to next year. It’s awesome to just sit on the balcony and enjoy being by the river. Several other family members rent cabins or condos and we spend the weekend tubing and going to the national park. Hopefully, we will be back next year.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay in this condo that had everything we needed. Conveniently located near Cades Cove in the GSMNP, Wears Valley, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our plans for going tubing down the river were canceled due to low water level, but we enjoyed all other activities! We found the building a little bit isolated and the grounds unkempt. Lots of spider webs at the door, around windows and on the decks/porches. A few minor housekeeping maintenance items needed, but overall a very comfortable and clean condo inside!
