Stayed Dec 20, 2025I reserved the condo for family attending my daughter's wedding at the Chandelier of Gruene. It was conveniently located to everything in Gruene. The place was as described and very clean. The management group was very responsive and the room was ready early. That was a very welcome surprise. I would definitely reserve again

Stayed Sep 20, 2025We only stayed one night so didnt get to enjoy the tube rentals but it was a great location to all the shopping and Gruene Hall. The tress were full so couldnt see the river but over all a really great place.

Stayed Apr 4, 2025The place was clean, perfect ground floor, location, ease of check in/out, and my well-behaved dog was welcome. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the wi-fi was not working, but maintenance promptly fixed it. We could not work the tv, no signal available. Maintenance offered to help the next morning. That’s not much help when you want to wind down at night after a long day. Overall, I would stay again.

We stayed in the cold of winter and enjoyed walking down to the river through their easy access. We are ready to go back in the Summer to use the provided tubes. Kitchen was fully equipped and condo was clean with everything we needed! Great dog-friendly site!

Reviewer Comments: We do a girls weekend to Wurstfest each year and this year decided to stay at the Village in Gruene. The location was amazing and the condo was the perfect amount of space. The patio was a little worn and the railing had mismatched spindles on the rail (which made it look pretty dated) but otherwise the inside was well-equipped. River City was so easy to work with and we will definitely stay in Gruene from now on for location and ease of travel.
