Resting Beach Place managed by Beach Retreats FL Anna Maria Island

Took us almost 2 hours to park, because the parking garage was under maintenance. Which was a big inconvenience being told our vehicle would be towed at our expense, and nobody let us know upon arrival. Finally after arriving into the condo they left wet sheets in the washer, dry towels in the dryer, and a dishwasher completely full. It wasn’t clean, and the balconies do not slide open, so the chairs on the balconies are false advertising. The keys hardly would work to get into any of the doors,all of the on site management who reside there were so snobby, sarcastic and beyond rude. Maintenance just walked into our condo without a notice as we were home, and it made us feel so unsafe. One of our showers didn’t work properly. Asked the onsite manage what time the pool closed he laughed and said idk 7:30, and walked away. When we arrived they were beyond rude, and very nasty to us. They do not leave any laundry supplies , and no supplies at that. They do have beach chairs ect, but it’s a pain to get to them. Very upset with our stay, and zero communication. Very ran down!!! The only nice thing was the location on the beach. I would most definitely never stay AGAIN, and I won’t recommend any of my family who stays at Anna Marie to ever book with this place. HORRIBLE STAY! Was shocked when the maintenance knocked, and then helped themselves to just walk into our condo while my teenage daughters were inside. It was so unacceptable, and there is absolutely ZERO communication.

Loved everything about the location and facilities. Only small complaint would be the dryer.

We were very satisfied with the property.we made use of the pool and pickle ball courts. As we are a bit older we thought the sofa could have been more comfortable. We enjoyed watching the gulf from the sun room. Beach chairs were easily accessible. Kitchen well maintained. Plenty of storage space. We are very satisfied and will recommend this property

We had a wonderful time at Resting Beach Place! The condo was very clean and comfortable. Everything you would need, was there. We will definitely be back!

Stayed one week and it was perfect! Open concept, lots of natural light, very short walk to Holmes beach, area not very crowded. Manatee beach is close but you would need to drive. Well stocked with linens, kitchen items. Has both drip coffee maker and keurig. We drove so we had our vehicle and rented bikes there was no bike rack and someone did suggest for us to use the storage room for them. Glad we decided against the golf cart, not needed with a vehicle. The staff at Beach Retreats were very responsive and quick with questions. Publix is the main grocery store and a short drive no issues with them being out of things. Nice pool and pickleball court also. My only complaint was the water pressure in the main bathroom. Overall great fun!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location and access to the beach was perfect for our family. The amenities were just as stated on Vrbo and we would definitely stay there again. I have only one recommendation from the stay. The cart for carrying items to the beach needs replaced. I have two little girls with a lot of STUFF to carry to the beach. This cart wore my old man back out due to the difficulty pulling it through the sand! Ha! Minor detail but worth mentioning. Thanks!

Our family of 4 loved our week in this condo. Great location, easy parking, short walk to the beach. The condo was extremely clean when we checked in.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo itself is very well maintained, clean and in a great location. It takes about 2 minutes from when you leave your door to get to the ocean! The only negatives we had were there were no garbage bags supplied. There wasn’t even one in the can. We noticed this the first night after having already shopped at Publix. I called the management company who told me they would get me some asap. We never did receive them. Not a huge deal, as we used the small Publix plastic bags. Also, the storage room where the beach stuff is kept is gross. We saw a few huge dead roaches and a few small live ones. We hated having to go in there 2x a day to get and return the beach stuff. The beach stuff itself was fine. Overall, I would definitely stay at this condo again, but I would consider leave the beach stuff on the beach at night, as a lot of people were doing this. Overall the place is a solid B+ maybe even an A-

The unit was nice with enough size for my family of four. Great view from the living room couch of the beach. Easy walk to the beach. Our only issue was the gate leading to the pool is right by the front bedroom. People slammed it every time they walked through. It was lound in the unit causing my daughter who was sleeping in the front bedroom to wake up each day by 6:30-7:00am. It drove us nuts anytime we were in the unit hearing the gate slam shacking walls/windows.
