Enjoy stunning views at this spacious 3BR/2.5BA condo in the heart of South Padre Island. Relax on multiple balconies and a sundeck, all with vistas of the gulf and Laguna Madre.

This resort community has it all—pools, a large hot tub, exercise room, tennis courts, racquetball courts, table tennis, sauna, and access to the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy a central location that puts you within reach of the restaurants, bars, and island activities.

ABOUT THE CONDO

The second-floor living room is wrapped with floor-to-ceiling windows, providing plenty of natural light and beautiful views. Kick back on a large sectional sofa (which converts to a bed) in front of the 40” flat screen TV. Mix your favorite drink at the wet bar.

A half bathroom is conveniently located just off the living area.

The spacious kitchen is well equipped to appease any chef, with ample counter space for prepping meals and beach snacks.

The dining area seats six around a large wooden table, with four additional seats at the breakfast bar. Relax in the sun on the wraparound balcony and enjoy the sea breezes. An outdoor dining set with seating for four encourages al fresco meals.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed, dresser, and a 32” TV. Step through the sliding glass door and take in the gulf views from the private balcony. The master bathroom has a dual vanity and a tub/shower combination.

The second and third bedrooms both have full-size beds and 32” TVs. Both rooms have access to the spacious outdoor patio with panoramic views and lounge seating. The shared bathroom has shower/tub combo.

Amenities include a washer/dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, and one parking space in the outside parking lot.

THE LOCATION

Just a few minutes’ stroll from the beach via the community’s private entrance, your rental places you at the heart of South Padre Island.

You’re just blocks away from the main drag, Padre Boulevard, home to an array restaurants and shops. Feast on BBQ at Smokey Tails or Cajun cuisine at Daddy’s Seafood & Cajun Kitchen, or choose from many other cafes, bar and grills and other options.

For the golfers in the group, South Padre Island Golf Club is just a 20-minute drive. You’ll also find many rental companies within a mile—from bikes to boats to jet skis to golf carts, everything you need for your summer adventure can be found nearby.

All properties do utilize pest control maintenance regularly, BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.

This home maintains a strict no-party and no-spring break policy. Our local South Padre Island team monitors compliance with our rental policies and responds promptly to any complaints from neighbors.     While the views were great and the location was beautiful, with views of the ocean and bay. However, the property has not been properly maintained. There was peeling plaster in the shower ceilings, the LR couches were visibly dirty, the dryer did not vent properly and dryer lint was all over the W/D closet, we would not dry clothes without leaving the doors open for fear of a fire starting, There was a broken swivel chair in the LR, 4 torn patio chairs 1 broken patio table, 3 of the 4 sliding doors had broken handles or locks, so we could not lock the doors when we left or were sleeping. Remotes were missing batteries, there was on 1 drinking glass and 3 juice glasses, no promised starter pack of dish/laundry soap, no dish cloths. We found a lot of dirt, crumbs, etc in various places, including a fork beside the stove, which we could see, but had not been picked up or that area cleaned.We contacted the mgt company, Vacasa, and their agent, Cynthia, took care of many of the items. However, the owner will have to take care of the patio and LR furniture. refrigerator, and authorize other repairs.The Sunchase condo property was beautiful, had 2 heated pools, lots of activities going on, secure parking, etc.If you rent this place, just know that the views and location are the best part of it. For the amount of the rent, I did not feel that it lived up to what the pictures online portray.

    Just checked out. Feedback: Moldy shower curtain, had a roach in the kitchen, bedroom lamp didnt work, upstairs toilet didnt flush, no ice trays, kids bedrooms had broken locks.

    The host was great. The only thing you really need to get a new refrigerator as it freezes everything lime I read in past reviews. Other than that was lovely.

    The area, beach access, views and pool were all great! The condo itself was nice enough and we enjoyed a long weekend on SPI.The microwave did not work and the owners did not respond to messages about it not working until the day we were leaving. This was hugely inconvenient when trying to heat up leftovers. Additionally, there was no way to make and store ice in the freezer and the refrigerator also froze everything, even set on the lowest setting.The light switches were not labeled- so it took some problem-solving to figure out why the outlets by the beds did not work to charge electronics unless one of the switches was turned on. The door out to the balcony in the corner bedroom did not have a handle on the outside of it- if you go out that door, you can’t get back in and the furniture on the bedroom level balcony was shredded. The pillows sucked!There was also mold on the shower curtain in the main bathroom and a minimum amount of towels and wash cloths.Overall, they were relatively minor inconveniences. Despite being let down by the lack of communication from the owners and the kitchen issues, we had a fun stay.

    Just so yall know the curtains in master room are broken since we got there. It was on a previous review. Yall just haven’t fixed yet. The dishwasher leaks. The refrigerator freezes everything. That was on previous review that yall still haven’t fixed. There was no shampoo or body wash in containers in restroom. They were empty. Floor electrical outlets come out which could injure someone. The ceiling above shower in master restroom looks like it is going to fall out. We didn’t complain because a lot of these are on previous reviews and yall clearly don’t want to fix them.     Great view other than that--REFRIGERATOR froze everything, furniture old, dated, dirty, stained, smelly. Ceiling fan in one bedroom didn't work properly. All curtains coming off edges so sun just shines in all the time. Misleading information during help text. Basically customer is always WRONG!

    My family and I stayed here a few days ago. It was 7 adults and 1 child. We had a great time and enjoyed the view! We were able to see the Saturday fireworks at Claytons from the downstairs patio which my 4 year old loved! I have no major complaints. The small complaints I have are only about the sliding doors (2 were broken, but still slid open and closed). Make sure to bring a wagon or beach cart as well! The walk to the beach is slightly lengthier than other condo buildings and hotels.

    The beach access and pool made this condo stay enjoyable. We never heard any neighbors and enjoyed the patio with a cup of coffee or adult beverage. The patios are private, the listing wasn't super clear about that. However, there were several places for improvements. - frig froze all our food even on a recommended or lower setting - sliding door upstairs was difficult to work - curtains in bedrooms, were lacking to keep light/heat out - no additional blankets, we also travel with our own, which was a major plus. - I was very thankful for a washer and dryer.

    Everything was great, from the beach view to the cleanliness. Minor issues but nothing worth complaining about. If you love easy access to the pool and the beach with an amazing beach view this is it. Place was clean, quiet, and perfect of a family of 6. We would definitely book again

    Excellent property for 5-7 guests. Stunning views from balcony. Spacious rooms. Well stocked bathrooms and kitchen. A/C, WiFi, appliances all in great condition. Local housekeeping and HOA very responsive. Friendly and visible security personnel. Close to everything. Perfect for R&R. Would stay again. Recommend replacing dining chairs and partial patio furniture. Would make the place more impressive.
