Renovated Penthouse with Ocean Views, Community Pool, Kid Pool, Beach Access & Roof Deck

Very enjoyable stay. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds with great linens, very nice furniture and spectacular views. So nice to have the pool and beach so close. Highly recommend.

The condo is beautiful - very spacious !Has one bedroom on main level w/full bath and second floor has primary and second bedroom with full baths - kitchen was well equipped!Condo looks over community pool and the view to the ocean was great ! Only thing that was annoying was the amount of gnats that came in and were in the condo . They have zevo setup to help but were still there so that was annoying . I would definitely recommend a stay there

Pros and cons:Pros: location location location. The proximity to the beach and pool, as well as the view is terrific. And can’t be beat. The kitchen was well stocked with items( not food) you will need if you want to cook. Three barrooms was a a benefit for my party. No need to share bathrooms. There were plenty of beach towels. The washer and dryer seemed very new and too qualityLG. The pool as well maintained and clean. Was a terrific place at high tide and when you need a break from the beach.Cons: the first impression, after looking at pictures, is disappointing. The entrance door is delaminating at the bottom, and at night you can see light all along the edge of the door as the seals on the door and door frame are non existent. The description of the property says newly remodeled….in the 80s?(although the property was very clean). There were no complaints on the guest bedrooms, but the master king bed. It is a memory foam, which was fine but there was a hump in the middle. Ie it’s was not flat except on the edges. The beach, be aware of the tide tables. High tide effectively comes up to the top of the usable beach. After about an hour of high tide it is usable again. And it also seemed buggier with no seeums in the evening.Overall we had a great stay. We picked the property for the pool and beach location.which did not disappoint. For the price I think there are better values if the proximity to the pool and beach are not as important.

We had a lovely stay. The view is amazing. We spent lots of time sitting on both of the balconies enjoying the sights. The location is great. It’s a very easy walk to the beach. The house was well stocked. We had all the dishes and supplies we could need to cook a few meals in.

If no stars was available we would give negative - this unit was completely infested with fruit flies - all over the unit - all over the kitchen, in the bedrooms, in the bathrooms in the showers even. You could not sit still in the unit without fruit flies landing all over you, landing in any food or coffee - it was unfit to rent, yet they did and it was disgusting. You could not make any food, and you could not be in the unit without fruit flies flying all over the unit. We sent a note and they sent out a pest control person, the last day mind you, who confirmed the infestation, The operators of the unit seemed to know there was a bug problem, as there were Zevo plugs in everywhere. The only place that there were no bugs was outside on the balcony! There was no functioning garbage disposal and no pantry nor any cooking supplies even if you did want to make any food. We have requested a refund, and so far they have only refunded 150 for our troubles. Totally unacceptable. Do not rent this unit from this company.

Recent renovations with easy access to Beach and Pool! Highly recommend.

The Artist's Palate exceeded all our expectations. Communication was exceptional. The kitchen had everything you could ever need. The views were amazing and the pool and the beach with the sandbar were perfect for laid back family fun. We can't wait to come back!

As always, we had a relaxing and memorable stay in Shipwatch. The place we stayed, Artist’s Palette, had everything from a penthouse view of the ocean to comfortable and clean furnishings. I did have to call because the TV stopped working while we were there. We had a quick response with a technician and were brought a new tv for us to watch later the same day!

Our family loves IOP and staying at the Artist’s Palette this time was wonderful. Incredibly clean, well decorated and welcoming for 3 Adults and 2 Children. Access to the pool and the ocean views were exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy the holiday week!

What can I say, what an absolutely awesome week. Condo was 5 star top notch. 50yds to the beach, ton of she shells, great pool and the building was in great shape loved the under building parking!! Just perfect!! Thanks folks!’

Shipwatch Villas in Wild Dunes never disappoint. The Artist's Palett penthouse is beautiful. We had everything we could want for a relaxing vacation. Gorgeous view of the pool and ocean. Very clean and well equipped. We will definitely return in the future.

We went on a family trip here with 3 couples. Everyone had ample space in their room and everything was very clean. Kitchen could be slightly more stocked- there were no regular seasonings not even salt and pepper. Coffee maker is TINY for a condo meant to sleep up to 8 adults, definitely need a bigger pot. That is our ONLY complaint. Everything else was delightful. The property is serene and peaceful. Very quiet community. We would definitely come back!

We loved staying here! We came with some friends and had the best time at this beautiful unit! They thought of every detail and the balcony was the best to have morning coffee with friends. We will be back for sure!

We loved Artists Palette! It’s an amazing condo. I’m not sure why there were some negative comments on it, but we had NOTHING but positive things to say about it. Plenty of room for my family and condo was very clean. The views of the ocean were amazing and I loved watching the sunrise in the morning. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay for our son’s Parents Weekend. Wonderful setting with great location and ocean views. Everything we needed.
