Stayed Jan 2, 2025We arrived to find no heat and no hot water in the unit. This seems to be a constant problem as there is a sheet with instructions on how to reset the boiler taped to the fridge. Needless to say the reset didn’t work, I spent time on the phone trying to troubleshoot the boiler with the maintenance person to no avail. Then they said they might be able to call a plumber. That’s all I had to hear, I found alternate housing as I couldn’t risk having to sleep in a freezing house where we could see our breath. And by the way, the black mold which is mentioned in previous reviews is still there. I was pro issued a full refund, it’s been 3 weeks and haven’t seen a dime back.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We enjoyed our stay. Bit of a walk to the slopes, but not too bad. Only complaint would be the living space is quite small, and was very tight with 6 of us. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the management team was very responsive.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We enjoyed our stay, there were only five of us and we had plenty of space. Although not a ski i./ski put, but access to the Sachem trail was just a short walk. The kitchen had plenty of cookware to make the food, but the layout was something I wasn’t used to. For instance, some of the cookware is inconveniently located underneath the bar. Also, the silverware and plates are in a hutch across the way. I found myself constantly back and forth between the kitchen and the hutch. The upstairs bathroom and bedroom had heated floors, never had that in a rental. I thought that was a neat feature. The wood for the fireplace was wet and took and took time to get going. There wasn’t anything there to help get the fire going besides a candle lighter, no fire starters or kindling. Fortunately, I know how to start a fire without those, but someone who doesn’t may have a hard time. I saved all the cardboard and paperboard from our food to help light the fires and the extras I left for the next person. The ash bucket was completely full and frozen to the back porch. There weren’t any instructions of where to empty the bucket, should I had busted it loose. There was a trash bag filled with trash from the previous tenant at the top of the stairs near the main entrance, why didn’t the cleaning crew take care of that? I finally took the trash bag to the dumpsters on our third day there. We did enjoy our stay and made some really awesome family memories.

Stayed Oct 5, 2023I 100% recommend NOT staying here. I stayed here with my family in October 2023 and the last time they had cleaned it (cleaning/maintenance schedule was on the fridge) was in early August. THE BUNK ROOM HAD MOLD ALL OVER THE MATTRESSES AND SHEETS. With the flooding earlier in the season they clearly hadn’t checked the apartment and it appeared that the bunk room had water that came through the ceiling and got all over the beds. When we took the comforters off of the bunk room mattresses the sheets and mattresses had black mold on them from the water leaking through the ceiling. DO NOT RENT from these people as they are unresponsive and don’t clean their properties. 2/6 people were able to sleep in the apartment and the other 4 people had to sleep in their cars because they didn’t want to get sick from the mold in the bedroom. It was a health risk and a shame that they listed and rented this apartment to us.

Stayed Mar 17, 2023Excellent condo - nice layout for a family or group of friends, great bedrooms, well-stocked kitchen, cozy fireplace, good storage for skis and boots in the stairwell. Short walk up the hill to the ski in/out path. Vacasa (property manager) was very difficult to work with. It took 6 email/text exchanges, including a 1:00am text with incorrect information, to confirm the number and location of parking spaces and that overflow parking passes would be left in the unit - simple basic info that should have been 1 quick answer. The address was incomplete and driving directions were not clear and conflicting between the VRBO listing (accurate) and the separate communications from Vacasa (not-accurate). The key lock box was also temperamental, a door keycode would be much better.

Stayed Feb 16, 2023The worst part of our stay was that the heat suddenly died. When we realized it, we had trouble getting through to the management company, and eventually they told us no one could come out until the next day. It was below freezing outside! Eventually we figured out how to reset the boiler ourselves, but it wasn’t for several hours and until the middle of the night when the heat finally started to climb above uncomfortable. It was very cold in the bedrooms. The next day no one from the management company visited or checked in to see if there was heat. It seems to be an anonymous corporate management company with people who are not nearby. Unit was not very clean when we arrived - used tissues on the floor, hair in bathroom, dirty kitchen utensils. One of the two toilets was broken, but we made it work with a twist tie. Only 8 forks in a place advertised for 10 people. Bunk beds for kids were squeaky and uncomfortable. Would not rent this place or another Vacasa place again.

Stayed Jan 21, 2023This place was nice and comfortable for our group of 10. The living room is a little small, but since the kids stayed downstairs it was fine for us. There was a nice view from the balcony The kitchen was well stocked, but we had to really look to find things. Here are a couple of issues with the management of this place: - We had a hard time finding the place since the phone GPS was showing the wrong address - Customer Service is not local so they have never seen the place and honestly could not answer some of my questions - Hair dryer was listed, but we could not find it - The one bathroom door has no lock and the other one is broken so neither one of the bathrooms locked. It made things very uncomfortable especially for our teenagers. Other then that we had a great time and really enjoyed our ski trip.

Stayed Jan 12, 2023I want to start by saying that none of the issues we had kept us from having a great time. Condo was very clean, and there were enough linens and pillows for everyone. However, there were some inaccuracies… almost like Vacasa had never been to the property… and this is the problem with renting from a management company and not from an owner. For example: None of the driving or parking directions they gave were accurate or helpful; the listing says walk to trail, but really it’s a short drive to the trail entrance- you could never carry your skis in your boots up that hill then down the stairs; no instructions on the heating or recycling; they have a ton of firewood, but none of it is covered, and the wood they had inside for us was all wet and they left us no kindling; they have a “local guide” you can call or email, but she doesn’t help with solutions or troubleshooting- just gives short answers; house sleeps 10 but they have only 5 coffee mugs. All in all, were we to return, we would know how to compensate for these issues, but going in blind it was a let down. I also think we would rent from an owner directly so that we get more help and more information.

Stayed Aug 5, 20222 mikes up a windy road to a condo community of which this unit belongs. Unit 6A is adequate and comfortable. My one suggestion is to provide a grill especially for summer vacationers. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This house is perfect for a small family winter getaway. It had everything we needed and it was very nice and updated. The only issue we had was the last morning we had no heat or hot water, but we were checking out anyway so it didn't matter much then. Something with the hot water heater, called Vacasa and they came right out to reset it. The walk is a little far up a hill to get to the trail, but not impossible.
