Remodeled North Pacific Beach Poolside Retreat~ Steps to Sand, Surf & Sunsets!

1 week stay for a couple of beach bums:Pros:- steps from beach - beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, towels included - walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars and major grocery store- area and building felt safe - great host & communication Cons:- overall cleanliness of the condo. Felt like it needed a good deep cleaning. Floor and all surfaces didn't feel adequately cleaned. - the frequent smell of marijuana in hallway and bathroom (from bathroom vent). This was quite disappointing because the building is marked as smoke free and it made leaving the front screen door open (for a breeze) a non-option

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this condo. Great location. Very clean. Lots of extras like chairs, umbrellas and the AC unit was very nice to have. The host was wonderful - great communication. We will be back!

Tidy little condo, fully equipped kitchen, including pretty decent (which is rare!). Our most important criteria are a, having a really good quality firm mattress and b, getting a little ocean breeze plus ocean wave sounds as we drift off to sleep. Both of these were fully met!I noticed there were extra items available for children – – beach toys, small plastic cups, bowls, and spoons just for the little ones. We didn’t need any of that, but can understand that would be helpful for families who do. All the adult stuff was there and it was great to have an entirely full set of pots and pans since we do a lot of cooking. Also, we knew full well ahead of time from the property description,that we were facing into a courtyard with a pool, so sometimes the noise was a bit much, but we knew we were signing up for that. Again great place for a family and kids. It’s a great spot on Pacific Beach, front lobby door leading directly out to the boardwalk. We had a good week.

The property owner was very communicative. The condo was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was so comfortable. The location is the best part of this property! You can walk to so many shops and restaurants and access the beautiful beach easily. The sunsets on the beach were wonderful. The only downside of the condo is the pool and spa. They are both very small and no balls or toys are allowed. It's not the best set up if you have kids that want to spend a lot of time in the pool.

Overall we had a good experience. The internet quality could be improved and extra linen added to the property. The location was phenomenal and kids enjoyed the pool/hot tub. The only downfall of 1st floor apt is sometimes loud upstairs neighbors.Bedroom had plenty of storage and hangers for organizing clothes, luggages all fit under the bed which was great.

Our stay was great.We totally appreciated the condo unit which was clean,well stocked with everything for a good time and iin a fantastic building We definately would like to return.

Didn't expect the very warm weather in San Diego! So the single portable A/C was not quite enough, but the ocean breezes helped as did the fans in the unit. Overall this condo is in a great location and very comfortable. We'd choose it again.

Wonderful host. Clean, comfortable property. Excellent location. Will look to book again. Amazing family vacation. :)

* Extremely Clean * Very Roomy - Very Nice inside * Nice Appliances / great ice maker in the Refrigerator * Big Bed * Great Location * Pool/Hot Tub are good, nice area for bbq/set around but you'll be at the beach :-) * Great Communication on Condo * Parking is a little challenging in the garage below but it worked fine just had to be careful * Nice washers/dryers (at least 4-6 washers, 4-6 dryers in the basement to use. I think washers were $1.75 load and dryers $1.50 (or close to that) * Location is great, you can walk to the pier (Restaurants, groceries, bike stores, etc or all a few blocks away. Ralph's is fairly close Basically right on the beach * Great Communication from Pam on everything * We could easily journey to different parts of San Diego from here which we did. La Jolla is very close by, Ocean beach is close as well (very scenic), Seaworld is close we rode bikes from there on trails. * Lots of biking trails around the area, mission bay, the beaches, etc. I would stay here again.

Great location - everything you need is within walking distance. A place for Bike rental storage a bonus.

Overall, very nice property. So many restaurants great within walking distance. The list of other restaurants in the nearby area was very useful as well. Beach access was close and the provided beach chairs and umbrella were great. A very relaxing stay.
