Relaxing Wild Dunes Oceanfront Condo with pool access

* Plenty of bath towels* Lots of hooks in bathrooms and bedrooms to hang stuff* Kitchen decently stocked for cooking* Convenient feet wash/outdoor shower to rinse off sand* Beach, even “crowded” was only 1 layer of people deep* Balcony table and chairs seating area is lovelyReally helpful little hotel-style luggage carts available to help with moving stuff from car to rental and back. This place was just lovely!! Would absolutely stay again!

The condo was perfect for the 6 of us. Only problem was bathroom in master bedroom. When flush the entire house wakes up. Very loud. Kitchen was stocked nicely.

You will pleasantly surprised to see the extras included and the pretty view of amazing trees wildlife and the beach was lovely. Other vacationers were kind and respectful at shipwatch.

The property was very nice and a great location. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice location and comfortable 3 bed/3 bath condo for my friends and I while visiting Charleston & the beach area. Beautiful beach within a short walk and beach views. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed...plus a Trader Joes nearby! You do need to bring your own beach towels, but that wasn't a problem for us. I would rent again.

Had a wonderful time despite the weather! The place was well decorated and up to date . Couple of suggestions. Your handbook said you didn’t have hair dryers but there was several there. Also the restaurant you mentioned Morgan Creek is now Island 71 or 77 ( can’t remember).

We had the BEST time staying in Wild Dunes!

Great location, with access to beach and pool. Toilet in king bedroom would not flush properly and tub in twin bedroom would not drain. Bathrooms need some repair work. Couch was large and comfortable.

The interior of the condo was very nice and perfect for our family.

This was the perfect getaway…amazing views, great location, very clean. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Unclear expectations with hairdryer, iron, we’re poor. The facility was clean. Kitchen pans were limited. Need dish towels. Whether too cool for hot tub and pool activities.

It was clean as a pin , had everything anyone would ever need , beds extremely comfy , had to call with one question , response was immediate , the place to stay at wild dunes for sure

The condo is as advertised. Comfortable and well designed. The location was great. The views were really nice. Easy beach access. Would rent again.

Well stocked kitchen.

The condo was very nice and we had everything we needed. My only complaint is that there needs to be better lighting in the parking spaces. The black car bumpers are hard to see at night and unfortunately one of our friends tripped over it and ended up at the hospital with a broken nose, cut up knees and also needed stitches on her nose. While talking to other people staying there, one said the same thing happened to her brother last year. They have reflections on the bumpers but still hard to see at night.

Wonderful place to stay. Just mins to walk to beach and very close to the pool which is beautiful.

Family friendly. Wild Dunes is clean & quiet with a wide, flat, pristine (!) gorgeous beach. Great for walking, in early Sept little to no body-surfing breakers except when tide turns in. Good parking, covered spaces beneath the building are tight maneuvers for larger SUVs. Bedrooms were adequately spacious (baby’s PackNPlay fit in the king room easily) & plenty of storage. Comfortable beds, very nice down pillows, Kitchen adequately equipped & clean. Generous comfy “sprawlable” sectional sofa & dining table for 6.Balcony smaller than photo looks, large tree impedes wide ocean view a bit but not a prob for us.Balcony doors have screens but no shades/blinds in L/R so at time room was quite bright with no way to block sun.A few minor issues with appliances (hair dryer, washer) & one of the bathroom doors did not lock but host / manager was quickly responsive. Pool key pad did not work on our second visit but complex staff were made aware & it was fixed the next day.Guests should know to check in to the resort at the Wild Dunes *resident* gate at 46th St. It’s about a 5-min drive from that gate to the Shipwatch condos.Would recommend for families, friend groups who’re looking to just hang out & relax!

Nice condo and a great location!

This is a lovely, clean, spacious and convenient place to stay in IOP! It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The beach is a short walk down a boardwalk and it’s beautiful! The kids enjoyed the pool right outside the building. The unit was well-equipped and comfortable. We would definitely return!

Really safe and great location. Beach is close. Nice pool. just know that if you are allergic to feather pillows, be sure and bring your own pillows. Other than that a really great experience for our family.

Fantastic location, quiet. My littles first time to our beloved IOP. We talked through some of our struggles to conceive while laying on these beaches. So, to bring our 2 kids this year was really special. Perfect for our family vacation, and Beth was a great communicator. Thank you!

Very much enjoyed our stay. Place was clean and well furnished. The grounds did not have BBQ's as promised. We did a lot of cooking for the family and the no large pans were available. We did not have a need to communicate with the property mnager. Fantastic location!

Love the space and design- each bedroom having a full bathroom is so helpful! Comfy living room and kitchen was mostly stocked. It could easily be a 5 star rental with a few fixes and updates(broken blinds, broken soap dispenser, tv discolored with lines, etc.)

We enjoyed our stay here for a week in April. We had perfect weather and our favorite part was leaving the screen doors open and hearing the beach all week. The patio was great. The walk to the beach was easy and accessible with multiple boardwalks to choose from. Chairs and umbrellas are not supplied, but that wasn’t an issue for us and you can use a rental company. The unit itself had been updated so it was a bit different than the photos suggested but we were told that would be updated soon (and the updates t the kitchen and master bath were very nice). The only issues we had were a strong mildew smell in the unit and the pillows are pretty flat. The TV also has poor quality, the color is blue. The room layout was great for us with comfortable beds. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and the Wild Dunes complex is a great place to stay with a lot to do.

My family and a couple of our friends escaped the aftermath of hurricane Helene for the South Carolina coast and this place was the perfect spot for us all to decompress. The condo is beautiful, well equipped, and very comfortable. The beds were awesome. Communication with the owner was excellent. We hope to return soon.

The condo is clean, beds comfortable and the location is great. Easy beach access. We had two nights the A/C didn’t work (tech thought he fixed it after the first day) which made sleeping difficult but management was quick to respond and they accommodated us. All in all a great ladies birthday trip.
