Relaxing Oasis - Penthouse on the Beach with Pool

The positives are this place had an excellent view on a beautiful beach. The beds were comfortable.Negatives: when we initially checked in in the evening the place hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests and was a total disaster. When I called the front desk to let them know the response was “ well send the cleaners over first thing in the morning.” I had to insist on getting clean linens being brought over immediately (really at this point we should have just left and checked into a hotel) and they told me “we’ll see what we can do.” No apologies, very unprofessional. Eventually, about an hour later after bringing over linens, they offered to put us up in another property for the night, which they did. However, it was a dump and also only a 2 bedroom. The place wasn’t cleaned and ready until 2 pm the next day after assurances it would be by the late morning. And the cleaning job was sub-par. Kitchen appliances still dirty, floor not properly swept and dog har on couch cushions. Additionally, the furniture is visibly worn and old. If you are a party or family of larger than 4 people I would not recommend this place because it only seats 4 comfortably in the living room and table. Also the kitchen needed to be stocked better and needed a normal size coffee pot.

What a perfect getaway! This place is a gem.

We absolutely loved this rental. The location was PERFECT and just a short drive to the harbor and restaurant hot spots! The beach is pristine, we found some good shells and very well maintained. Communication between us and the rental company was incredible. They were right there to answer any questions that we had!Staying on the 6th floor was great too, as we had the option to take the stairs and not wait for an elevator but the elevator was always available. We had our first 4th of July celebration on the beach. The firework show was our first on the beach but not our last. It was right outside our condo and it was the perfect time view from the balcony and the beach..one of the best shows. We will definitely be back! My family had the best time!

We rented the penthouse with the intention to host a family gathering. The initial check-in process proceeded smoothly, thanks in no small part to Brigetta's assistance. However, upon arrival at our designated parking location, it was discovered that our space was already occupied, despite the policy of one parking spot per unit. After sharing my intentions to have the car with anyone who listened, a group of adults came down and moved it to another spot.Upon entering the penthouse, it was immediately apparent that unauthorized persons had been using it for a gathering; the premises were in a state of considerable disarray, with wet towels strewn about and surfaces cluttered with food, alcohol, and trash. The intruders appeared startled by our arrival, with one individual offering to clean the unit immediately as they vacated the premises. Shocked, we headed back to the office and demanded a refund. Subsequently, at 8:30 PM, we found ourselves without accommodation and were compelled to seek temporary lodging at a nearby hotel, with the anticipation of securing alternative accommodations the following morning. Unfortunately, efforts to book another property were hindered by VRBO's system still listing us as occupants of the initial unit, despite repeated requests for its removal from my profile, thus precluding the possibility of making an alternative reservation. At that point, all I could do is laugh and vow never to rent again.

The views were amazing. Easy access to the beach and pool(s). The dedicated covered parking was nice. It was close to shops and restaurants. Check out was easy.

The kitchen was not stocked well with essentials. The oven was disgustingly dirty. It was nice to be able to rent the cabanas.

Perfect get away location

Property was as advertised. These condo units are on both sides of the road, Gulf and Inland waterway. There are pools at both (morning sun on the inland side and afternoon sun on the Gulf). Condo was everything we could have asked for, we had 6 people and it worked out great.

My two friends and I had a really nice time here. The balcony was amazing to watch the sunsets. It was a quick walk to the beach and super easy to get a chair/umbrella set up for us. The fact that this place was also dog friendly was a plus for my 6 pound little dog. Only 1 or 2 restaurants were close enough to walk to, but the rests were a quick drive. If you plan to cook you may need to keep it simple as there were only the basics. We planned to go out so not an issue for us. We would totally stay here again.

The condo is very spacious - having three bedrooms and three full bathrooms is so hard to find in this area! The balcony and views are just awesome. We had a few requests about the cleaning when we checked in and these were immediately resolved - Mandy did a great job in following up. We enjoyed how easy it was to walk the area - from the beautiful beach to fun bars and restaurants.
