Stayed Aug 9, 2019Property was clean. Rhonda was very quick to respond & very accommodating. Could probably add a few more dishes & pans but overall we made it work and had a great experience!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rhonda's place is very clean and comfortable. I stayed here for a week for business and it was a great home base - spacious, clean, comfortable, and lots of parking around. Would stay again!

Stayed Sep 25, 2020Property was as advertised! Clean, bright and filled with art, we were completely enamored with the property. The neighborhood was quiet and provided access to all the freeways. The property manager (Robin) was gracious and accommodating. She provided quality service. Loved it❤

Stayed Jul 28, 2020Miss Johnson’s property is even better than the pictures. It’s location is close to so many great Detroit landmarks. The house is filled with charming, special touches that make the guest really and truly feel at home. Anyone who enters will know this space is filled with love. You will feel right at home in The Jewel of Detroit.

Stayed Sep 4, 2019There were a variety of issues that made this less than positive. The owner changed the lockbox code but didn't update the access instructions so we had difficulty getting in and then it took too long to reach the owner. There were not enough clean towels for 3 people for 4 days (which were thin/poor quality to begin with), while there was a huge pile of dirty linen in the closet). We were not familiar with Detroit, and found ourselves in a run down neighborhood, with many boarded up homes. I guess I should have done better research on the area, as I was later advised that this was a terrible neighborhood for a B&B.
