Easy check-in, everything in working condition

The refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser did not operate upon arrival. We reported it and were told to contact the rental company… I called each day… they said a repair person would come… no one came day one… I called again day two and was assured someone would come… no one came… I called again day three and was told the supervisor would come… no one came… call again and was told the supervisor would arrive before Noon… came back at 2:00 and found a bag of ice in the freezer… still no water! No app9ogy or explanation. In addition, the grout in the tile of the floors in the unit is dirty… we tried to clean a small area to be sure it is dirt… for such a wonderful unit, these deficiencies are disappointing… especially for Vrbo!!!

Indeed. It was an exceptional view. Highly encourage you to take a long look at this place. We are true beach bums, we go out and flop for hours at a time. This location seems more geared to the folks that like a more diverse experience. There is a great beach. They also have a great lazy river, a pool, a spa, a theater etc. All first class. In addition, Galveston proper is a short 1/2 mile away. Really a great option for people looking to do it all.

Nice condo and great amenities. The pools were a hit. The only real problem was that the beds were not comfortable.

We really love the condo. It’s quiet and has lovely amenities. If we could change anything we would like more comfortable furniture on the patio. Otherwise it’s perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

The pool, lazy river and condo were all awesome!

The condo was nice and stocked with all the needed amenities. The pool and lazy river were great - loved the swim up bar!

Property was very nice, however two issues presented themselves with the unit. First, the beds were not comfortable, all members of our party had difficulty sleeping on the very HARD mattresses. Second the units AC unit was quite loud when turning on.

The Queen offers the best view at Diamond Beach Resort for watching 4th of July fireworks. We saw the fireworks in the distance from our windows and balcony for Seawall and Moody Gardens.We love the amenities of Diamond Beach resort- lazy river, indoor pool, gorgeous outdoor pool, arcade, and easy beach access.We had small issues that we communicated with Ryson at the end of our stay (we didn’t want to mess with maintenance during our stay). And they responded that they would see to them: the towel bar was not secured and would fall off with the slightest touch of pulling a towel; the hall bath was too hot on the coolest setting, and I had to use cold water from the sink in a cup to help my daughter, and one of the blinds in the master would stick. Very minor stuff since we’ve stayed in another unit that did not have hot water in the shower. The view, the layout, the windows, and the decorations in the Queen was our favorite so far out of the the four units we’ve stayed at.

Convenient, clean, and good spot for convenient access to a great pool, beach, and nearby attractions.

The property and condo were beautiful!! The homemade biscuits and gravy I made our first morning there tasted amazing on the balcony!! The only thing I seen that could use some work is the path to the beach from the property. We chalked it up to the construction that was going on beside the building as to why it hadn’t been cleaned up a little but other than that it was worth the stay!

The views from Diamond top floor condos are breathtaking which is why we returned. Unfortunately this unit had very comfortable beds, the kitchen chairs were a bit broken (we worked from the unit so sat in them quite a bit), the pull out bed was very old & could never seem to get the hot water to work. This unit needs some updating compared to the other units we have stayed in. I would return but not in this unit at this price.

Rooms were great. Clean, comfortable, super view of the gulf. Location away from the most crowded parts of seawall area. Did not use indoo

Beautiful views from balcony! Nice size for 2 couples to stay. Had enough items in kitchen to do some light cooking.

Due to the hurricane a month ago, the pool was closed, had been closed for weeks, but was advertised as a feature of the property. I was never told the pool was closed until I checked in the front desk said they told VRBO that the pool was closed to please tell the renters but no one told me. I would not have rented had I known the pool was closed. As a matter of fact, it was the reason I rented here beware!

It’s become a yearly tradition to visit Diamond Beach Resort, as always my favorite spot to hang out is the lazy river. The condo was super nice & super clean & exactly how it was described!
