Prime Beachfront Balcony - Madeira Norte #311

The location is perfect, especially if you have teenagers. They can hang out on the beach and the boardwalk. There are pleanty of fishing and boating options available. The view is fantastic. The balcony overlooks the gulf and the entry to Johns Pass. You can sit and watch the boats come an go all day.The overall condo could use some upgrades. One of the balcony doors doesn't lock and there are some minor issues with other doors. As an example, the front door is difficult to work with the locking system. However, overall, this is a fantastic place to stay and we will go back if our schedules allow next year.

Check in very simple. The staff are very friendly and so nice. Little things make it great. I b really like how they even include instructions for the tv, washer/dryer. Loved being treated by the resident cat, Butterball.

Very nice overall. Nice condition. Nice kitchen supplies, beds, bathrooms, couches, tvs. Two charcoal grills. Good internet. Amazing balcony and proximity to beach. Watch sunset everyday from balcony. Great access to John’s Pass. Pool was nice and heated but a little too busy at times. The pool is a little on the small side.

I also like the fact that they leave instructions on how to use things in condo (TV, washer/dryer, refrigerator, etc.) Love the location. The staff at Sunhost are wonderful and so helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our sixth stay at Madeira Norte, and seventh overall with SunHost, in Madeira Beach. We have stayed in multiple different units in the complex and they have all been excellent in their own way. Unit #311 is a wonderfully located unit being straight beachfront with a great view over the trees.The unit was generally very clean and reasonably appointed, but was not without some issues. The most glaring issue was the quality of the beds. We don't go looking for The Ritz when we stay anywhere, but the master bed was simply a broken down, creaking mattress with a 4 topper thrown on top. The two twin beds were not much better. This is something the owner must remedy if they expect good reviews. While the unit did provide the basic necessities one would expect, most units will offer a few small items that should not be considered extras for the comfort of the guests. Things such as an extra pillow or a spare blanket for if someone wants to nap on the couch go a long way, but this unit didn't have anything like that.Once again, Madeira Norte is a wonderful property and Unit #311 is a serviceable unit. It just needs some additions and upgrading to be on par with other units in the complex.

I read reviews before coming and brought something with us to help . Mattress NEEDs to be replaced . We loved the condo other then the mattress issue .

The view from the balcony is perfect and looks right over the ocean and is great for watching the sunset. Chairs on balcony were very nice. The office was great about repairing the minor issues we had. The only negative was all the mattresses were awful, worn out and uncomfortable. In the master a foam pad had been added but did not help. For that reason, I probably would not stay in this condo again. 7 nights of not sleeping good can put a damper on vacation. I have not experienced this before in any other condo I have stayed in at Madeira Norte.
