Platinum Plus Priviledges at Distinct Residences Luxury Resort in Nuevo Vallarta

We had an amazing week in the heat of Mexico. The property is beautiful and our room was great! The ocean view allowed us picture perfect sunsets each night and even a group of whales spotted one morning. Our family made good use of the beach access and multiple pools. Pickleball courts allowed us to burn off excess energy during the day and the roof top bar was perfect for reflecting on the day with a nightcap. Can’t wait to get back. Thanks Carrie for sharing your little piece of heaven.

The room and property were very nice. The benefits of Carrie's platinum membership are absolutely worth a visit, The rooftop tapas bar is fantastic and the beach area is beautiful.

The room and resort were nice. That being said, the service throughout the resort was terribly slow everywhere except for 2 restaurants. Restaurants and room service limited the amount of bottled water we could get as well as ran out of bottled water on more than one occasion. Additionally, room service often had to be called 2-3 times before anything was brought to our room. This was all frustrating due to how much we spent on the daily all inclusive rate. When booking the room Carrie was helpful and responsive.

The resort was awesome as usual (our 3rd visit). Was our first time booking a suite here through VRBO. Carrie was awesome to deal with, provided all info needed, and very responsive to questions. Everything was as promised. We really enjoyed having the Platinum Plus benefits during our stay.

We booked this property for a ladies trip in the end of February. We enjoyed this destination tremendously! Wish we could have stayed longer). Renting from Carrie was seamless and we felt like valued guests. She was very responsive and communication was excellent. The hotel was quite busy but she arranged an upgraded property for us at a regular price. The property is located just a couple minutes away from the beach which is fine because we were able to get a cart ride whenever we needed. We preferred to walk though ). The apartments are spacious and don’t feel like the typical cramped hotel rooms. Our unit had a secluded demi-private pool which we enjoyed a lot. It’s a quiet place away from the common pool, which is great for privacy. Also this property have numerous pools of all kinds. The platinum membership plan gave us nice privileges like discount at spa, a lot of free services and even a free excursion program. We found the food here was of higher quality than regular all-inclusive, and same goes for the level of service. We definitely recommend this amazing vacation destination and Carrie as a great host! We would love to come again!

Amazing location and really great hotel. Great environment, the new beach club is amazing, the quality of the food (all inclusive) is great and the mozzamare restaurant is best in class. One thing to improve: the quality of the open bar, honestly speaking far away from my expectations, it seems like they changed the menu and today is really ordinary, for example: red label and passport scotch (really?) instead of black label, no more tequila herradura or bayle

I spent an entire week with a friend and our 18 year old daughters at this beautiful all-inclusive. Since it was spring break and 95% full, we were not able to get a free upgrade- but I'm not sure we would have been any happier or more comfortable if we had. We loved the location and the layout of this unit, which was perfect for the 4 of us. Room service was good and the balcony a favorite spot for hanging out. The beach concierge and food/drink service were excellent. We spent almost every day enjoying a private cabana. Note-at least during the week we were there, the Marival Residences were mostly occupied by adult groups and families with children. The teenagers did use the shuttle service to go visit friends at the Marival Hotel & Suites, which had more people their age (and the club scene, more beach activities, etc). That being said, we were glad we chose to stay in this unit and enjoy the best of both worlds! The upgraded food and the amenities were worth it. We utilized every part of the resort from the pools and jacuzzi to the spa. Carrie was extremely responsive with questions and checked in on us frequently, both before and during our vacation. I would absolutely recommend this rental and would definitely consider going back in the future.

Everything was perfect! We loved our room, the pools were amazing and the beach setting was fantastic!! Viktor was our beach waiter and he was amazing!! He's a hard worker, smiles and seems to enjoy what he does. He is a huge asset to the property. In fact, everyone, that works at the resort, went above and beyond. Thank you, Carrie!! We hope to go back sometime soon.
