Reviewer Comments: Despite our week being mostly windy, rainy, and blustery, being on the beach is always desirable. We enjoy the location quite a bit, it allows for quiet and fun as we desire. The kitchen, bathroom, and living areas are just right. The bedroom could use another dresser or nightstand or at least a suitcase stand. Adding some hooks for clothes and towels and dog leashes near the front door would also be appreciated. We did not use the pool this time, but have enjoyed it in the past. We will stay here again. We're just sorry we didn't get sunny weather. Thank you!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at El Constante dozens of times, for decades, and have referred countless others. We love many things about it. But in recent years, the nighttime lighting on the beach side of the building are OVERWHELMING!! There is no credible reason for this type of lighting. There are tons of other viable options to use lights for safety without blinding people. One of the reasons we originally fell in love with the place is a long time ago is due to its reasonable use of lighting. This area, well known for important bird migration, should be more responsible for allowing the natural phenomenom. PLUS, it's actually DANGEROUS for nighttime beach goers trying to return to their rooms when facing the onslaught of bright lights, which completely block their vision of the steep stairs up from the beach. At a minimum, there should be some mild lighting at the stairs to assist people returning. We implore you to please seek out alternatives. There are dark sky options which still provide safety for the property and its guests. Lights which are warmer and are directed DOWN rather than up and all around.

We weld this place, but , according to employees this has been an ongoing problem and it's obvious. I expect some kind of refund!! We will call and speak personally.

The location was perfect; we spent a lot of our times sitting out front listening to the waves. The pool area was beautiful. On top of that the condo had everything we needed. It was great! Dog friendly. I don’t know who had a better time us or our English bulldog Dylan. I love the way the kitchen is laid out in this condo. The bed was a little soft, but everything else like the bathroom was nicely updated. The kitchen was updated and cozy. The only thing I feel needs to be worked on is the deadbolt lock we could not get it to turn.

Condo was very nice other than our place not being ready by 4:00 after a long drive. We sat in the parking lot for 45 minutes to an hour waiting for the check notice. We love this place our 4th or 5th time we have stayed here.

Steps away from the beach and beautiful view out the window or on the porch - perfect if you have someone in the family who prefers to see the beach and not be on it ;) Highly recommend.

Condo is nice a clean , one thing thoughshower stall door bottom seal needs installed keep water from running on floor and a bigger shower head , other than that nice stay .

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived a bit early, and were allowed to check in about 1 hour early, which was nice. The property sits facing the beach, which is great. At the front door, we were greeted by broken glass, a no-no on the beach and beach areas. Upon entering, my wife noticed a hole in the wall from a reclining chair that hadn't been fixed. Also the sofa had a small stain on it. The bed was super comfy, and we slept well in it. The next morning, when we showered, the shower door didn't close all the way, resulting in much water on the floor. With a limited number of towels, we cleaned it up. Since we had pets with us, I did my best to fix the door instead of having a person come and fix it and disturb my pets. The A/C struggled to keep up with the TX heat, and at times the room felt damp and muggy.With some more TLC from the property management, this could easily be a 5 star property. They charged 5 star prices, and the location tells you why. However, I would be hard-pressed to leave anything over 4 stars. Maybe if you gave me more than 1 towel or washcloth for a 4 night stay, but I'm not crazy about using the same ones for 4 straight days.

The shower has black mold in it, the handle on the faucet in the kitchen keeps falling off, the seal under the front door needs to be replaced, you can see light coming in and the refrig/freezer was finally replaced on the last day we were there. The office did credit us back for the refrig inconvenience and we did appreciated that. Overall the unit just needs some repairs
