Perfect for Families- 2 bedroom in the heart of West End

The place was very close to West End walking distance, the pool was very nice, our host got back to me as soon as I needed her and accommodated to all my needs. Overall, it was a very great experience.

Overall experience was great. However, there should be an understanding that for example, guests coming from the US might have higher expectations on standards that people from other places. We went for a local experience and didn't let small little imperfections bother us. Location was close to everything. Loved Roatan and most importantly people. Host was great on suggestions and communication.

I felt safe by myself and was walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

My friends and I took a long weekend to Roatan. We have been to the island several times and just love West End. The condo was perfectly located. It was super cute. We just loved the vibe of the place. It has adorable art and decorations. It was super beachy. Very comfortable. Nice furniture. The manager Caroline was so helpful. I can't say enough. The beach is a short walk away. I definitely recommend it

My family and I had booked another property on Roatan for a month this winter however it sold and we were forced to look for another place last minute. The property manager of that place recommended Caroline and Caribbean Colors Rentals. I am so happy they did. Caroline was so helpful finding a place for us. We ended up having to stay in 3 of her condos because of availibility. However, we found this to be enjoyable. We got to try a variety of locations and places. This condo is very well located. It was clean, comfortable, and well located. It has a well stocked kitchen which I appreciated. The ACs all looked new and cooled very well. There was cable TV with enough English channels to keep my boys entertained and the internet was decent. It wasn't great but it seems that is an island problem. My favorite part was balcony off the front has a table,chairs, Adirondack Chairs, a hammock, and a BBQ! The pool is right next to the condo and the kids really enjoyed it. Caroline was great throughout our stay. She answered every question and went out of her way to make our stay great. I really love all her eco tips and ways to reduce our impact on the precarious island eco-system. The one recommendation I have for people is to bring bug spray. We had a terrible time with sand flies. This is our third trip to the island and we had never had issues before but got bitten a lot our first few days on the beach. The kids and I were covered in bites. My husband did not get a single one. We found some amazing natural bug spray made on island called Andreas Aegis. It worked like a charm.

The spacious apartment is located a couple blocks off the beach and is in a complex known as West End Resort, but shows up on the map as Sunset Villas. We were there in late April / early May and it was very quiet. We had the pool to ourselves, and our boys had a blast. It's a quick walk to the ocean and the strip where numerous restaurants, bars, and shops are located. Half Moon Bay is the best area for protected snorkeling and swimming, and it's a ten-to-fifteen minute walk away. The apartment itself was well equipped. We chose not to use A/C given the small electricity allowance and the fact that we were spending the subsequent week on the mainland with no A/C. We acclimated pretty quickly, although the island turned out to be hotter and more humid than mainland Honduras. As promised, the power did go out, but only for about an hour on a Sunday morning. We hardly watched television, but did turn it on to see what was on -- lots of channels, mostly in Spanish. Internet was intermittent, but did work most of the time, albeit slowly. Occasionally, it would work well, but those times were few and far between. I wish the apartment were better ventilated. There aren't many windows, no screen door, and the kitchen window screen had a hole with a failed patch attempt. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, cutlery, flatware, etc... and the apartment is stocked with 5 gallon water jugs free of charge. Overall, a great value and comfortable place to stay. We stayed at Sunset Villas for a total of 3 weeks. Within walking distance to all that West End has to offer including some nice little beaches. The Villa was well equipped with everything we needed to cook complete meals. The pool is a great feature, especially if you have children! Anything we needed, Caroline did her best to provide. She is extremely knowledgeable about the island and its activities and also on top of things concerning the Villa. Would not hesitate to recommend this property along with its management!!

We come down several times a year to visit our daughter and always rent a place through Caroline who is the best property manager we have come across. My wife and I stayed here for a week before moving to another location on the island. Normally we rent a larger three bedroom from Caroline for our family. But since it was just my wife and myself, she recommended this place and we absolutely loved it. I am even thinking that I might rent it next time we travel with our 4 kids in the place next time we come down. The master bedroom is huge and the second bedroom can easily sleep 3. The kitchen has everything you will need and then some. The pool is also just fantastic. Wouldn't change a thing.

I came with my family several months ago and love the place so much I came back with my sister. The condo was even better this time. Great location, great condo, and even better pool.
