Beautiful views, peaceful

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was perfect!! Check in and check out was very smooth. We had some issues with our freezer and refrigerator which were addressed. My only suggestion is blackout blinds in the bedroom as the outside walkway light was extremely bright into the bedroom.

Great time

The view was perfect. It was right on the beach. We had everything we needed. It even had a cute restaurant across the street we could walk to.

Any issues we had were quickly resolved. Great communication!

Overall the unit was very nice and clean, it did have a strong smell of mildew when we first got there and the shower curtain was covered in mildew which was nasty but everything else was clean. Tried to sweep up before we checked out but the broom was broken. Minor things

First stayed in this building in 2007 and have repeated about four times so we knew what to expect for our two week trip. Realtors would refer to these units as cozy - adequate, but on the small side of life. The one major negative was the WiFi; as a retired college prof, I'd give it a C-. The Southern rental management came over twice to check it out and then sent a technician from the Cox company to see if it could be fixed. Cox put in a new modem and suggested we turn off our VPN, but the change was minimal. We could get email, but if it had a link, the link would not open. No online banking, no ability to make purchases, and the list goes on for our computer and two iPhones. We went to restaurants with our computer and phones or went to the library to check important items. The two TVs work well, but only the bedroom has a Smart TV so watching streamed shows such as Thursday Night Football was not going to happen and the WiFi wouldn't allow the use of the computer to catch the games. If you're going to do baking - bring some hot pads or use the unit's wash cloths. The bedroom rug feels yucky on bare feet and the bedroom closet door needs repair. Other than the above the bed is comfortable. The view is outstanding. The location is good. Southern Vacation Rental really try to be helpful especially Karrie with a K.

Text 30 minutes before arrival about water damage. Had 6 to 8 industrial fans they wanted running at all times. The maintenance came in with their child around 8 am 1 day to caulk the new boards. Would not move us anywhere and have a VERY SMALL discount not enough to ruin a vacay. The water damage had been going on a week so could have been contacted sooner. The maid was awesome and checked on us every day. BUT the interaction with Southern Vacation Rental was RUDE and not professional I think the owners need to know what is going on with their condo. I know things happen but if this had been going on a week it should have been handled differently! Pictures and videos to prove of needed

We enjoyed the beautiful condominium …. Clean and safe

We checked into our room at 4, unloaded the car. Went to dinner quickly to get back so our 3 kids could enjoy the little bit of time left in the day in the pool or on the beach. When we got back, the keypad wouldn't unlock. Called customer service and they couldn't unlock it from their end. Changed the keypad code multiple times, there was no getting in. He told me to call back in 30 minutes. He was going to get in touch with the property manager. So we waited. When I called back nothing had been done. No one was coming. We stayed on hold back and forth for hours. We sat in the car until a locksmith finally came and let us in our room. It was almost 11. We were told we couldn't leave our room or we would be locked out again, wait until someone comes the next morning to fix it. Someone came in and had it fixed in less than 10 minutes but it was after 9 am when he came. I understand that for locks can break. I understand after hours. But they left us on hold and waiting for hours to get in our room. Told us to go to dinner or something but then told us we couldn't leave because he wanted us to keep going up to try the code again. We were told by the company they would make it right with us but then never heard back. The internet was down so the tvs didn't work but who wants to call customer service? We had dealt with them enough. When we checked out i expected to hear from someone, never did. I had to call. Multiple times.
