Enjoyed staying off the main part of the beach. So quiet and peaceful.
We wanted a place closer to home for a short trip (4 nights). Weather was cooler than expected but we enjoyed the condo and the sounds of the ocean. There are great places to eat within an easy distance and Ponce Inlet is quieter than some other Florida coastal towns and cars are not allowed on this stretch of beach. This Condo was clean and comfortable and well supplied for cooking and eating. We would definitely go back
You really can’t beat the view from this comfy, quaint, and convenient condo. The location was great overall, right on the beach with breathtaking views right from the balcony. Also a short drive to the lighthouse and to Daytona Beach attractions (we have young kids). The condo was well equipped, providing everything that we needed to cook our own meals. Also provided linens, towels, in unit washer and dryer, hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner. While the condo isn’t large, it was perfect for our family of four. Definitely recommend.
I HAD A GOOD TIME
We loved the condo. It was perfect for our family. It is right on the water so we didn't have far to go. My only complaint is the lack of information. We were not given the code to the lockbox for the key and the lock was very difficult to use. No instructions were given on how to get it. We were lucky to find the instructions written on the lock a couple of doors down that had the same lock. It took us 30 minutes to get in since it was Sunday and the office was closed. The people at Vacasa tried to help but did not know how to use the lock either. Ice cream was melted by the time we got in and my elderly mother and daughter were overheated waiting outside the door. Also, we were not given the code on how to get through the gate from the beach. My family was trapped on the beach until someone happen to walk by. Also, the door to the master room was very difficult to close.
The view was the best part! The floors were slimy, the shower was slimy. There wasn’t a wash cloth or dish towel in the condo. The carpets/rugs look like they have never been washed or cleaned. Everything stuck to the dining room table no matter how many times we washed it. The lint filter in the dryer hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. There was sand in the sheets. The a/c stopped working on our first full day, someone came to fix it, but we ended up emptying the drip pan ourselves. We washed everything we used in the kitchen before we used it. The frying pan was so caked with grease. I have stayed in 2 other condos in this building, and this was by far the worst! They have an amazing photographer, because the pictures are nothing like real life! Plus there was one parking pass which is not in the write-up online. The condo sleeps at least 5-6 that’s kind of hard with one vehicle if it’s all adults.
My two sisters and my grandson and I spent five days in the condo. Everything was great! We did have a difficult time getting into the condo. The door locks were tricky. After maintenance came and helped us, we were in and had no problems. The beach was great. The pool was clean. We overlooked the areas that were under repair. We love Southpoint.
Location was perfect. Views were spectacular. Unit had everything we needed. Will definitely go back!
The rental property is true to its description online. You can’t beat waking up to the view and sound of the ocean. It’s a short distance away from anything you want to do. I highly recommend this unit and I plan to use it again in the future.
The condo was clean and comfortable. Check in information was clear and accurate. The balcony was a little smaller than expected, but still nice for watching sun/moon rises and dolphins swimming by. The area is still rebuilding after the storms in the fall of 2022. There were several trucks/equipment driving up and down the beach as crews repaired sea walls and restored building foundations. We were told construction will likely be halted May 1 for turtle nesting season. No reflection on the rental but good information for those are used to staying on the 'no drive' beach. The condo is approximately a 2 block walk from Racings North Turn Restaurant. This is a nice convenience if you are looking for someplace to get a bite to eat or a drink on their patio. A couple of notes for potential renters- 1.) Pick up a bag of ice as there is not an ice maker or ice cube trays in the freezer. 2.) The outlet in the master bedroom has LED back lighting. You may want to put your suitcase in front of it if you like the room dark for sleeping. 3.) The property appears to be mostly vacation rentals. We found the 2 older elevators to be over worked on the weekend check in/check out. All in all the stay was great and we would consider renting again.
Great view, well equipped kitchen, very clean Comfortable couch
The condo was neat and clean. The views were great as we had a full moon over the water as well as a space launching. The space had plentiful amenities such as soaps, shampoo and towels. We tried two reach the property manager to ask about the parking pass but did not receive a call back. While instructions said don’t ask the office, we really had no choice. The office manager was very gracious and provided a pass. Other items included no ice as the ice maker was turned off and we couldn’t find the dishwasher detergent. We bought ice and detergent, no big deal. We didn’t have any suggestions for a restaurant in the overview property folder. The 2 we enjoyed the most were Fysh and Off The Hook. Both had good food and great views. The Marine Rescue Center was also a great place to visit.
The condo unit was amazing. Decorated so nice, spotlessly clean, lovely veranda, quiet location. It was exactly what we were looking for.
We booked a vacation getaway for our 32nd wedding anniversary. We were emailed the access code for entry to the electronic door lock, with no other instructions. When we first got there, the front door appeared to already be unlocked, for some reason. Then, when went to leave the unit, the door would not lock, whatsoever. We were unable to leave the unit. Unfortunately, of the only 2 contact telephone numbers provided in the original email, one number was completely not in service, and the other number actually belonged to someone else. We could not reach anyone for support. Why would your organization include 2 contact telephone numbers that both were no good, in the original email that was sent out? Then, after multiple phone calls to the main support, and 2 1/2 hours later, we finally were contacted by a local employee. He mentioned these electronic pushbutton locks, along with the access code, there are other buttons that needed to be pressed also, to access the lock. He finally showed us how to use it. Why wouldn’t your organization simply post the complete instructions, to successfully work the electronic pushbutton lock, in the original email that got sent out? Also, there’s a gate with a handle, to access the beach from the property. When we returned from the beach, we tried to get back onto the property, but there was no handle on the outside of the gate to get back in, and we could not get back onto the property. Fortunately, after a short bit, another resident came up and said this gate is keyed access only. She finally let us get back in with her key. Why would your organization not provide a gate key for us to get from the beach, back onto the property?
Great view from the 7th floor balcony, well maintained beach, secure building,
Beautiful views. A great pool. Very simple check in and out. All in all, a great place to stay
