Pajaro Dunes Vacation Home on Epic Private Beach for family or Romantic Getaway

Very Clean. Awesome beach access. Beautiful view.

Overall good experience here. Last minute booking for us. It was more than what we needed. We chose it due to being on the bottom floor. The view was okay. From the primary bedroom you see other Pajaro dunes units. From the living room there’s a view mostly of the dunes and ocean beyond. There was a bit of a communication glitch between using Orbitz and Vrbo- couldn’t see the info the owner sent me for check in. No biggie. Owner was plenty communicative. The resort needs more lights, especially at the edge where the parking is. Had to giggle at the disabled parking space as it was uneven and not well marked at all. Next, going to and from the car to the pathway is dark and on an angle. Every time we entered and exited the property it was dark, so this was very dangerous for me as a disabled person. Up and dark on the way in and down and dark on the way out. I don’t know if lights were out or what, but eek. This is a great area and beach because it has fewer people and lots of wildlife. There is not much around the resort, but it’s perfectly situated between Monterey and Santa Cruz. I would definitely come back again.

Very quiet secluded property

Place was very nice, you can just walk over the dunes to reach the beach. Very spacious and not crowded. Beach was clean as well. Definitely vacationing here with the kids again. Very kid friendly.

Liked location. Disliked missing light bulbs & window coverings need updating.

Our son and his family enjoyed their stay there. Pajaro Dunes is a lovely area.

We had a grateful weekend in Shorebirds 275. There was plenty of room for our family of four. There are twin beds in the second bedroom, so the kids each got their own bed. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the needs to cook a family meal. We took the short drive into town and bought groceries for the weekend. So convenient! The showers worked well, with lots of hot water. The second bathroom had a tub so the little one could take a bath after a sandy day at the beach. The walk to the beach was very close... maybe two or three minutes...possibly less. The beach was clean and beautiful!. We could see the ocean from the living room and master bedroom. The fire place was amazing, one Duraflame log burned all evening to add warmth and ambiance. Truly a beautiful stay!! We will book again!! Thank you!

The condo was very clean and ready for our use. Check in instructions were easy to follow. Very few items in the kitchen - had to search for salt and pepper but found it. No room for our groceries but made it work. Internet address and password were incorrect. Finally got correct log in information the next day from the office. Took two days to figure out TV too but finally got it. Too many remotes without any instructions. Ease to beach was great.

The place was very nice and clean. Also a great location steps from the beach. The master bed was very comfortable but the twin beds were not. Both adults complained that they were uncomfortable and they slept terribly. The listing also stated there was a fitness center. We erroneously interpreted that to be a gym with equipment to work out on. That is not what it was.

Great place by the beach!

A wonderful family getaway with my parents and aunt. So enjoyed the beach access, walking along the coast every day and picking up treasures. This was a perfect unit for four of us and worked out so well for those of us with mobility issues. Very comfortable, felt right at home. Cooked several meals and was so happy with the well stocked kitchen. A

The condo is very nice. Easy access. Coffee pot didn’t work is our only complaint.

Great beach access

Awesome location ground floor with direct beach access! Window coverings vertical blinds need to be updated……only negative…..awesome stay!

Parking was plentiful. The condo was immaculate. Cooking breakfast every morning & doing laundry was a breeze with the well-stocked unit. The beach was two minutes out the door and boardwalk - each condo complex has their own access point in the middle. My boys loved having their own beds to sleep in. The unit is on the bottom floor and very quiet - I got plenty of sleep every night I was there!

This is a wonderful place to stay! Great location and beautiful!

The property is very nice and location perfect. Bring your own games and entertainment for kids, as it wasn’t very set up for families but the location is worth bringing a few extra games. It was clean and super convenient to the beach. Overall will return!

We have been staying at the Dunes for 5 years now every summer break. This was first time in the Shorebirds side. It was great, condo was very clean. Comfy beds and great spot. Will sure book again next summer if possible. Only one thing I would change (my ocd kicking in) is the trash can needs a lid in the kitchen so maybe a new can. Maintenance and on site staff were very nice and helpful.

We've stayed in a lot of units at Pajaro Dunes. Honestly, they're all amazing - this location is ever stellar. This unit is refreshing for not being one of those sterile IKEA-stocked rental units where everything is blue glass and beach written in rope on the walls. There's really intriguing art and a generally really relaxing vibe. I love the mirrors! The use of the electronic lock made check in and check out a lot faster than other PD units - nice!Thanks for an absolutely wonderful stay!

Had a great time, staying 3 nights at this vacation home. Mr.Howard was very responsive and helpful. Had a wonderful time with family. The place had the necessary furnishing and the necessities for a family. Would love to stay again!

The condo was exactly how it was listed. It was very comfortable and cozy. We were on the lower floor so you can hear the kids running upstairs but it was not all night. The beach access was so close from condo. I would go back again.

I love Pajaro Dunes! Such a beautiful peaceful place. The beach was beautiful, the condo was nice and well stocked. The check in was easy and we had a great time.

The condo was exactly as stated in the listing and the owner was very prompt with all communication. The location was great, it was a short walk to the beach where you could walk north into Sunset State Beach . The resort is gated with friendly. Easy drive to Monterey about 35-40 miles. It fit all our needs and we would stay again.
