This condo was the most well stocked home I have ever stayed in--everything you need to live at home is here. The owner has created an extensive array of available complimentary items from boogie boards to denture cleaner. You truly have to see it to believe it. You can easily walk to the beach or to the shared swimming pool and jacuzzi. The lovely golf course is a 3 minute drive and a sheltered snorkeling beach is just beyond. We will stay here again.

I wish we could give 10 stars!! Great unit. Every little need addressed--fluffy towels, bamboo sheets, coolers & beach umbrellas, personal care items, condiments. The condo has a quiet beach close and the swimming pool is right out back. Two miles from airport. Oh, and did I mention the big box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts and the Hawaiian coffee? We were even able to check in a bit early. Great communication from the owner and the provided guidebook has info on EVERYTHING on Kauai. You will love this comfortable unit--and Kauai!

Nice older property next to a resort. The owner has plenty of cooking supplies and condiments to make meals at home. Nice pool area. The grounds are well taken care of. Plenty of chickens around but not bothersome. Felt like a safe area. The condo is not within walking distance to anything except the resort. It is a good location to drive around the island and close to the airport.

Immaculate rental that was exceedingly well stocked with both essentials and “nice to haves.” Host was very responsive and provided voluminous information about the property and the island. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

It was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was a short walk to the beach. We had a great time.

Immaculately clean and well taken care of. We appreciated the spices in the pantry and enjoyed the sheltered patio. We loved the quick access to the beautiful beach.

We enjoyed the condo. Cleaning was great and all the items that the host said were in the condo were there. We only had to buy any basic food we needed. The kitchen was ready to go with just about anything you would ever want to use and were good quality appliances. The pool and hot tub were both out of order in the villas but the hotel was still allowing the condos to use theirs. Thank you to the host!!

This review was long overdue, 10/10 would recommend my family, friends, and everyone that would stay in Kauai!!! 1) Location was perfect since Monque's place was 7 minutes away from the airport. It's in Kauai Beach Villas, very safe & beautiful; 5-minute walk to the beach, pool, grill throughout. Perfect distance between north & south shore, it's midway point. Beautiful condo with amazing views of the resort.2) Monque, the host, responds to your messages right away. We had a problem with the main living room a/c and he did something about it right away. 3) His condo is beyond what my boyfriend and I asked for. It's like home away from home. We got the basic needs that other hotels don't have at about the same price: wifi, microwave, fridge, kitchen utensils, silverware, stove/oven washer/dryer(!), separate bedroom, living room, lanai/patio, etc. We got to cut excess food costs using his kitchen. His lanai was perfect to have coffee in the morning & just relax.4) Free parking! Need I say more?!5) Beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, and snorkels were provided. We could have spent an arm & leg; and yet all these were provided for us complimentary. 6) Free box of chocolates and coffee for staying at this place!7) Detailed places of where to eat, what to visit, over-the-counter meds such as Tylenol or band-aid in his bathroom cabinet, etc. He thought of everything! We really had an amazing time staying at Monque's place & will always come back to this :)

Place was exactly as described. Fully stocked kitchen is rare for HI. It is nice to not have to purchase/bring minimum cooking essentials (salt, sugar, oil, etc.) Don’t be scared off by the complex’s pending sale, just means more solitude for the private owners left. Host is communicative. More than adequate beach supplies in great condition. Rent while it is still available.

It was a great place to call home for a week! So many amenities, anything you had forgotten they supplied in this condo. The kitchen was loaded with spices and drinks in the refrigerator, to tie you over until Safeway open in the AM. We will. Ooo this condo again on our next visit!

It was everything I expected. The owner was fantastic in his communication. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone. It has everything that you need to cook entertain it’s everything I was looking for. All you have to do is buy some groceries and it saves you a lot

I've been to Kauai several times in the past, so I know a good deal when I see one. This condo was centrally located and worked well for what my intentions were, basically I wanted to take my wife, who had never been to Kauai, to all of the locations on the island that every first timer should enjoy. Whether it was traveling north to the Princeville area or west to Waimea Canyon, this is a great area to begin the journey. Short drive to Lihue for the airport and shopping as well. Now for the condo review, Excellent, the host goes all out to make your stay the best it can be. He provided several PDF files for info including one file that was over 40 pages long that included information and reviews for the island's sites, shopping and restaurants. A major plus was the fact that he keeps the condo stocked with condiments, toiletries, beach items like umbrellas, chairs and even coolers. OUTSTANDING.... I've stayed at many VRBO's and none of them provided what this host provides. The condition of the condo was very good, no complaints at all for me. We'll be back, thank you for providing us an excellent stay!

air conditioning effective, but a little noisy. place very clean with lots of extras so you don't have to go buy, such as cooking oil, seasonings, etc. Pool close and clean and great. Property nice and quiet.

Everything was perfect it was like living in our own little apartment. Great appliances, nice refrigerator, stores of condiments and such, towels for the beach play things for the beach.. could not have asked for more!

This condo was incredible. Perfect central location for exploring the entire island. It was really close to the airport and we traveled to several areas of the island easily. It was EVERYTHING the owner described in his Semi World Famous Island Write Up, and it had more than any other rental that I have ever stayed at. The condo was well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a week's stay. They provided beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, snorkel gear, and beach towels. It also has a washer and dryer, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to cook any meal! It does have an electric stove which I personally don’t care for but It served us well for the week.This place is everything it is advertised to be and more. Super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We have never been to a VRBO with so much provided for their guests. From the kitchen to the bathroom, if I didn't pack it, it was available to use, so don't think twice about booking this property! There is no ocean view if that is what you are looking for, but the resort area is beautiful and the condo is very close to the pool. There is a really nice beach about 5 minutes away with a very safe place to swim and snorkel.

OMGoodness! This condo was amazing. It was EVERYTHING the owner described in his Semi World Famous Island Write Up. I had friends staying at other condos in the complex and they said they are hoping this one is available next time they come. Doesn't even compare to the others ! Loved every minute of my stay.

Everything was smooth from first point of contact-reservation through stay. Communication was great and the tips/and info provided pre-arrival was so helpful. The condo was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The provided beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels came in handy. The only thing-which cannot be changed-was I wish the beach at the condo would have been more user friendly, but there as a nice beach just 5 minutes up the road. Thanks for a giving us a wonderful place to stay while in Hawaii.

My stay at Monk’s condo was lovely. All was as described except there is no ocean view at all. A lot of the info in his write up is outdated. All in all it was a comfortable stay.

IT is a well equipped and very clean property. The guide from the owner is very helpful.

The condo was large for a one bedroom, very clean and the description of the unit was spot on. We have never been to a VRBO with so much provided for their guest. From the kitchen to the bathroom, if I did't pack it, it was available to use theirs. The bed is very comfortable and I liked the little makeup cove, in the hallway, was nice to have. I liked the location of the condo. It was close to the airport and we traveled up and down the coast, several times and it was centrally located. I think Kauai is our favorite of the Hawaii Islands. The green and lush natural landscape was one of our topics that we kept coming up in our conversation. We will be back.

Mounque's property is exactly as he describes it. This was a wonderful experience and the location of the condo was excellent. We especially liked having access to the Outrigger hotel's pool area. Everything was great without any problems. Thanks Mounque!

My partner and I loved this condo. It was honestly one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. The location was great, a short drive to the airport and pretty much in the middle of what we wanted to do. The host provided tons of info about Kauai which we appreciated and was responsive to our questions. We would definitely consider staying here again mext time we come to Kauai!

Thus property is well kept and our host was very responsive to our needs. It was a no-worry stay!

The owner describes the condo and property exactly! EVERYTHING you would need for a comfortable stay is there, from extra paper products, soaps, shampoo, laundry pods, etc. Mounque explains everything in his documents, there are no surprises. Complex is great, being next to the Outrigger Resort, where we had access to all resort pools, etc. Condo pool & hot tub are stellar. Location to the ocean is excellent. It doesn't disappoint, thanks Mounque!

This place is everything it is advertised to be. Super clean. Up to date. Central to everything on the island. Communication with the owner is very easy. I can not say enough good things about this place. My wife and I have stayed at a lot of Vrbos over the years and this was by far our best trip ever. Many thanks to Monk for sharing his place with us for 10 days.

The unit is only a short drive to the airport and made it nice being centralized to the attractions on the Island. Great communications with owner. Very clean unit. Kitchen is very well equipped, resort pools and hot tubs very nice, nice being remote from towns made for easy parking at the condo, very nice landscaping and taken care of. The only negative items I had is the room is over a 3 minute walk to the beach,, the couch is very uncomfortable, and the beach itself. The beach at the ocean is not clean, you can not swim or snorkel in the ocean at that location and if you walk heading north on the beach there are a few homeless people living there.

I’ll say this, the neighborhood was nice and close to a beautiful beach (although I wouldn’t recommend the beach for younger children) and overall the description was very accurate and thorough. However, some problems I had were that the sink was broken when I got there and it sprayed water out the side the entire time, I couldn’t use the sink without having to wipe everything down after. Also, packages would not go to this address no matter what I did - I was staying for about a month and no packages even with excessive correspondence with the companies ( I tried re-sending it with one company over 4 times and just ended up sending it back home due to the hassle) items would just stay “out for delivery” for days and never get delivered even with directly copy and pasting the address over. Truly though my main problem with this Vrbo is the private investigator (who works with the Kauai Chief of Police) that REPEATEDLY came to the building to question and harass me over the owners whereabouts, information and my relation to him - I winded up leaving a week early because I was not comfortable with this - I informed the owner of the issue and sent him the investigators information which he did nothing with, and a day later the investigator was back with more questions. Overall I could live with a broken sink but I refuse to be pulled into any legal matters the owner has, I appreciated the in-unit washer and dryer but I would not stay here again.

WOW, what a great location to the whole island. Close to the airport, shop Safeway, Smith’s Luau and perfect for exploring both sides of the island. Mr Mounque was very attentive to all our questions and he got back to us with all our answers. His condo was fully equipped and his listing was outstanding and accurate. My family and I loved our stay, you will not be disappointed. Thank You Mr Mounque😊
