Origin 1320 - Studio King Gulf View- Amazing Gulf View

Pros: walkable, safe, cleanliness, the staff was friendly to me. Con: The shower/tub bottom had leftover residue from my old shower mat.

Need to update amenities' condition.The bathroom mirror's frames are broken, tub has peeling offs. Mini fridge needs cleaning and updating. Pots and pans needs replaced. Everything needs updating. The bed was ok and comfortable though.

Parking it was terrible

This would be our 3rd time staying at the Orgin and this experience was the complete opposite of what we were used to! Our room was extremely humid and hot when we checked in, you wanna know why…because our balcony door was unable to fully close. We then noticed that our air vent had black mold coming out of it and water dripping. Now I will say maintenance did come and clean the black mold and change the air filter. BUT we couldn’t get our room colder than 73 degrees… during the August summer! Overall im highly dissatisfied because I should be able to book a different room and get the same cleanliness that should be expected. In addition the bath tub had rust and the mirror in the bathroom was breaking apart at the seems. This room needs to be shut down and cleaned thoroughly and renovated. Do better. I felt like I paid money to be highly uncomfortable and displaced.

My husband 1st time to Florida and he loved everything

I loved the property and all the amenities. The only thing is that my condo was not cleaned thoroughly. The floor still had trash and Bobby pins on the floor from the previous tenant and the floor was not swept or mopped and turned our feet black when we would walk on it.

I stayed on this property with 2 friends from July 14-July 17. They told me check in was at 4, but my room was actually ready before then, so that was nice. I had never stayed on this side of Panama City Beach, I normally stay around Laguna Beach, but I liked the central location of this stay. It was a few minutes away from Pier Park and very close to several restaurants. The hotel was busy and the elevator broke down twice while we were there for 3 days, but thankfully, there were other ones available on the wings. The only complaint I have is the small amount of parking spots available in the parking garage. We came back late at night and had no spot open so we had to park in the overflow, a lot farther from the hotel. I don’t understand why a 15 floor hotel would only have 2 levels of parking in a garage. The payment process was easy. We also enjoyed the little shop they had downstairs for ice. If you are concerned about high security, this place may not be for you. The security and front desk leave after a certain time in the late afternoon/night and the hotel front doors are just open. I want to clarify, I never felt unsafe, but thought it was unusual not to have a more secure way to get in after a certain point.
