ON THE BEACH! LOCATION! Beautiful views! GULF FRONT! 3 pools Tiki Bar

Pelican Beach Resort is one of our favorites in the area. Right in the middle of all the Destin action. We were able to walk to Big Kahunas water park across the street. View was amazing, unit was clean, hosts were great!

The condo was very clean, beautiful view of the beach and the pools were nice. Anytime I had a question the host answered quickly. The kitchen was stocked with the necessary essential. I would highly recommend.

Older property, but nice. When we got to our condo we noticed that some housekeeping items were missing. There were no pillow cases for the extra pillows, no sheets for the pull out sofa, and no fitted sheet for the master bed. The dishwasher didn’t work properly and the dryer on the 18th floor was out of order. The living room TV wouldn’t connect to the cable box but it was a quick fix once we discovered that the box in the master bedroom had to be on for the tv in the living room to work. The owner was SUPER responsive and kind and worked with us to problem solve. The convenience of the beach right outside the condo was the best part. Being able to see the ocean from the balcony was great, too.

This is the 5th time we’ve stayed at Pelican Beach Resort. I believe the last 3 times have been units with the same owner (I know last 2 were for sure). The unit was exactly how described and the host is extremely friendly and helpful. I contacted her on Sunday with a question and she immediately responded back.

I had a wonderful stay in Destin!! The property was clean and as advertised, the Condo staff were pleasant and helpful. The Beaches were spectacular. Communication with the Host was easy effortless. I left my phone in the condo and could not remember the room, and the Pelican staff reached out to the host Greg and Missy got us back in no problem. All in all you cannot go wrong with this unit and the host we had great experience would definitely go back.

The view was stunning! The condo was clean and had lots of cooking utensils. The pools were very nice!

Overall the Condo was fine. There was an awful musty smell coming from the closet where the beach chairs where. There was also black mold around the vents in the bathroom that I cleaned.

18th floor view of beach was amazing! Tiki bar was a nice touch including beach service. Security was top notch!!

My husband and I had the best stay! View from the balcony was priceless. I saw dolphins from the balcony every morning. The property has a restaurant and bar that would service you at the beach. Mae sure to reserve your beach chairs and umbrella. The owner was super friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Greg and Missy were wonderful hosts. The condo is very nice and the view from the 18th floor is second to none! The resort was clean and the people were friendly.

The condo was clean. The owners were very responsive. The pullout couch bed was very uncomfortable, you felt all the springs. We ended up just sleeping on the couch and not pulling it out after the first night. If you are needing 2 people to sleep on it, I recommend bringing thick padding. Everything else was great!!!

Nice to have multiple pools. The property is very nice! Brno had all the amenities as advertised; made our stay comfortable. It was a bit chili and overcast 3 of 5 days the first week in march.

Unbelievable views. Sunsets were amazing.

Yes, sofa and beds were comfortable, the everyday surfaces clean but the only thing is that the unit needed to have a deep clean, mold on the caulking around tub shower, stains on curtains in front of sliding door and outside door on balcony was dirty, dusting in the creases of the dark furniture, the dust shows.

Great great great!! I’ve stayed here before and this condo never disappoints. The condo is close to everything and the beach view and access is amazing. I truly enjoy this location and the hosts continue to always be outstanding through the entire rental process! Look forward to coming back next year!

Nice condo and resort! Only kick back is you are not allowed to put your beach chair at the water edge. I love sitting at the water so it was a bummer.

HATED the chairs out front that was horrible. The time the gym opened was horrible. and someone stole our basket of toys out side our door the last day. Other people left there things out as well. And we had no problem until the last day and the people in front were no help. The gym should be open at all times. it opened at 8. my kids get up at 8. was not happy about that or the chairs.

Condo was perfect! Loved the location and all the amenities. Would definitely stay again!

All was good except the beach chair situation. Probably won’t stay there again for that reason!

Great place we would definitely go back beautiful view

This was perfect for our family. It was close to the beach and the view was outstanding. The room was clean and very spacious. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay that is so close to the beach at an affordable price!

Noticed there was dust and dirt behind furniture when moving to plug in devices and under the beds when items would fall under them. There weren’t items like cooking spray to make food that would stick. We already had to go out and buy a box fan and more toilet paper because 4 rolls were not enough for 4 people for a week. We weren’t about to buy cooking spray too. We did use a beach chair but it would have been really nice if there was an umbrella and a few beach toys for guest use. We did love the amenities with the 3 pools, 2 hot tubs, and the tiki bar. The gulf balcony view was beautiful and spent many mornings watching the sun set out there.

This place was just what we were looking for. Easy access to beach but very private with spectacular views.

The view!!! This condo is on the 18th floor so the view of the beach is amazing! This is the 2nd year we have stayed at Pelican Beach and it’s perfect for our family. It is in the middle of everything. We truly love the convenience of the beach being in steps away.

My overall impression was amazing, it was my first trip to Destin and the property was wonderful from the views to the location to the overall resort experience. I would definitely book again

Great View

This condo is a great location, great beach, and super caring and communicative owners!This was our second time staying there and we would book it 100 times again! Only recommendation would be a new bed in the master and shower head in the master bath! Otherwise wonderful!!

The condo is exactly as described. The views of the Gulf from the balcony are absolutely breathtaking. It was the main reason why I chose this rental and it did not disappoint. Check in was easy. Host was responsive to texts when needed. The condo and the complex were clean, quiet and in the perfect location. I will most certainly be coming back to Destin and hopefully this rental!!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Location is great, bed was comfortable. The toilet in the master bath would randomly run so we had to turn it off during the night. The condo is directly across from the elevators so noise could be a big issue as the master bedroom window is next to the hallway, however, we stayed mid-week so it was relatively quiet. We will probably stay here again.

Beautiful unit with amazing views of the beautiful beach. This was our 1st time in Destin almost everything was closed at the resort. Booked it because it was supposed to have everything you need at the resort. No Tikki bar was open, only one pool and jacuzzi were open as well.Would be nice to let people know that the restaurant is only open Mon,Wnd,and Friday.

We had a little mishap with the app sending us to a different spot but manually typing in the address fixed the issue. The location was superb and everything id hope for and more

This condo was clean, well stocked with basic necessities and in a great location.The hosts quickly responded to our questions. We had our sister and brother in law come and visit for 3 nights so we used the pull out couch in living room which worked perfectly

Picked an odd week to come down... it snowed, so much was shut down. The room was excellent though and the couch was comfy

If you’re looking for ocean front - this is exactly that. You walk back to a full unobstructed view of the ocean. It’s breathtaking. On the 18th floor, it’s also very private. The hotel is in the middle of all the places you’ll want to go to - a great location!The bed was comfortable and I was very happy to find extra blankets in the closet! That’s something that’s often not found in a lot of rentals. The pillows were nice and dense/thick. Loved them! The kitchen had everything you’d need to cook and eat. TV is big and the furniture was comfy. I didn’t need the bunk beds but they made for a nice area for my luggage. ;) The price was amazing and I’ll definitely be back!

Had a nice stay on the beach - Great views, easy beachfront access, clean and comfortable. Plenty of dishes for our 4 day stay and beach chairs in the room if needed. The condo itself was exactly as pictured. Good location in the middle of town - would stay again. Only reason for 4 stars was they could use some updated utensils and pans for cooking. Really more of a 4.5!

Everything was nice. I fell and sprained my ankle the day before our trip. So I was put in a boot and was non weight bearing. I stayed in the condo everyday except one. My stay was still great because of the views and the place felt like home. The weather was perfect so I just sat on the balcony to watch everyone else enjoy the beautiful beach. No complaints here.

Pleasantly surprised at the beautiful condo, well decorated & well maintained. Great price, very comfortable & a good location with a great view. We've been going to Destin over 40 yrs & this was one of our favorite condo's. The whole resort was immaculate, great pools & amenities. The owners out did themselves, Thank you.

Great location and excellent condo. Everything was clean and the condo was well maintained and well equipped. Best beach front condo I've booked and we vacation on the panhandle once or twice a year.

Not a fan of the chair in the living room. Very uncomfortable. A recliner would be nice. Mattress was just ok. Woke up with a hurting back every day. It would be nice if there were more small essentials like foil, baggies, more dishwasher tabs and trash bags. You shouldn’t have to buy that stuff when you’re only there for a short time. A stackable washer and dryer would also be nice.
