Off The Hook-Luxury Cottage - Heart of Corolla!

We had a great time at Off the Hook! Great location and close to the pool/beach! Would have loved if they provided beach chairs as we didn’t have them but otherwise it had everything we needed. Grill was a bit dirty so we didn’t use it, but otherwise the place was very clean!

Great location and good complex with lots of amenities. This unit is stocked for families with children - high chair, pack 'n play, utensils, etc. The listing accurately reflects that one bathroom has grab bars but is not ADA compliant or suited for wheelchair users. We aren't disabled but the grab bars were nice for hanging wet swimsuits.

Our long weekend was so lovely. The property was exactly as advertised if not better. We were traveling with a 91 yo who uses a walker and wheelchair periodically. This home is perfectly outfitted for someone with mobility challenges. We took advantage of the pool cabana one day and loved that experience (including drinks and food delivered from the Salty Rim…so convenient!!

This property is so beautiful and comfortable. We had two kids and two little dogs with us. The rental had ample space to accommodate us comfortably. The kitchen set up was amazing and was more than we needed. I almost wish we stayed longer so we could take full advantage of all the amenities provided. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay! My only complaint was not receiving the door code in the email sent by Vrbo. The email said “Here is your Access Code” without an access code. I had to call the property manager to receive the code when we arrived. And unfortunately, there are some people that didn’t pick up after their dogs so we had to be mindful when taking our dogs for walks.

This is our second year in a row staying at Off the Hook. We stayed here last year because of the handicap accessible options (large shower and wide doors for wheelchair access) for my mother, but we booked again for many more reasons. This place is absolutely perfect in every way. So close to shops, the beach, the lighthouse, etc .... and it's very roomy inside, with a massive kitchen island, roomy and well appointed bedrooms, 2 baths, and a very comfortable living area with a perfect sofa for stretching out on. And it was perfect for our dogs, too. I imagine we'll be returning next year also, as I can't imagine finding a better place to stay in Corolla. And a big thank you to Jess, who went above and beyond to help us with any questions or concerns.

Great property. Very clean house and neighborhood. There was a little wagon at the house that made it so much easier to bring items down to the beach. Plus that it was pet friendly.

After the 15 hour drive from Michigan. The location was great. The place was quaint and small but nice. We came in noticed that the vent was noticeably dirty but didn't want it to ruin the trip. First night we couldn't find the tv remote for the master bedroom nor could we get the volume to turn up in living room having 2 toddlers to entertain, I found the remote stuffed in the box under tv chewed up by a previous guests dog. I contacted the number and told them about the issue, lady said they would get us another one (but it never happened). The TV in the living room wouldn't turn up to a volume that we could even hear. The bicycle chains were badly rusted that we couldn't even begin to use them, the grill had so much grease and left over food on it that when we were finally able to get it started (because of course it didn't start the way that it was supposed to) it was all flames despite gas being on low so all of our food was extra burnt on the outside and raw in the middle (great waste of money), asked for a couple trash bags told no, called VRBO about the issues and was told we would be contacted by the manager, told manager about issues again, she was short, snooty and argumentative. Then said she would talk to the property manager about getting some sort of refund (I've yet to be contacted or receive any refund). Overall the beach location made it everything that was worth it but it quickly went down hill the longer that we stayed. Very disappointed.

Nice place & close to beach. Kids enjoyed the pool and convenience to shopping center, beach, lighthouse nearby. Property was clean, well supplied with cooking supplies and dishes/silverware etc. Property manager was very responsive to any questions or concerns. Great location!

Off the Hook is a gorgeous bungalow type place! It has an amazing kitchen and 2 bedrooms which was perfect for us! Resort style amenities with a fantastic pool and right outside the property is a bar/restaurant called Salty Rim! Communication was fantastic! Property was immaculate! Linens, towels, and beach towels provided, even shampoo, conditioner and blow dryer! Awesome location! Would definitely stay here again!
