Oceanfront Very Private Condo - 48 Pelican Point - Pajaro Dunes on Monterey Bay

This is the first time at Pajaro Dunes and it was amazing. The condo was beautiful, and the view from the condo was even more breathtaking. We couldn't of had a more relaxing time. We sat at the beach 1 full day doing nothing but walking the beach, flying the kite (which were provided as well as Beach chairs and umbrella, thank you) snacking, laughing and people watching. (I wanted to swim but water was too cold.) The condo was such a cozy retreat after a full day. We only cooked breakfast in the well furnished kitchen but the refrigerator kept our drinks and snacks ready. We did leave to have dinner in Santa Cruz 1 night and it was a nice, short drive. We will definitely be back. Thanks for helping us friends make more wonderful memories

This unit is a perfect location very close to the beach with nice ocean views. The condo is stocked very well with everything that you need. The condo is furnished nicely with a beachy theme. We really enjoyed our stay and I hope to go back someday soon.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Pajaro Dunes VRBO. The ocean view was stunning, and the location couldn’t be better, so close to the beach! The condo was clean and comfortable, and we loved how peaceful the area was. After our stay, the host let me know the coffee pot carafe was cracked. I didn’t notice it while we were there, and they charged 22 to replace it. Aside from that, everything else was great, and I will definitely recommend it to friends!

Incredible stay. We had such a great time. Beach was beautiful, home was so cozy and functional and loved all the little touches, and was incredibly clean. Will hopefully be returning someday!

Beautiful condo with beach and ocean views from both inside the kitchen area and the deck. Easy access to beach for hanging out and watching the sunset. Sandy was also very responsive and we enjoyed our visit.

We had a great stay in February! Weather was stormy, but the unit was cozy & warm while we watched the chaos outside, a very nice break for us, exactly what we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at this location in every way. The condo was perfect….great view, private, well appointed kitchen, clean, comfortable, steps to the beach with quick and easy communication with host Sandy. It was a perfect getaway. We look forward to coming back again.

What a beautiful and well-appointed space! Seamless from start to finish, with excellent quick communication from Sandy. The kitchen was the most well stocked we had ever seen in a rental with quality cookware and appliances, and my partner had a blast cooking multiple meals for us. The view from the living room and balcony was gorgeous and we enjoyed many evenings playing games as the sun set after a beach walk. Looking forward to our next trip!

Host allowed us to check in early - really helped us to avoid traffic from the Bay Area. Condo is located in a fabulous location (great views), is comfortable, and really nicely furnished.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Pelican 48. It’s the perfect size for two, beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view of the ocean/beach was amazing. The host was very informative and welcoming. We would stay there again.

The condo was beautiful, immaculate, and well equipped with everything we needed. The beach is just a few steps away, and is very private and secluded. Excellent communication and information provided about everything. We loved our relaxing getaway and will be back!

What a delight place to stay! Beautiful view of the ocean, easy access to the beach, miles of sand to walk, and gorgeous sunsets! The condo was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The decor was charming with its pelican theme. Did I mention the hundreds of pelicans on the nearby beach and flying overhead? The best beach vacation we have ever had!

Everything about the condo was great- it was well stocked, great view, and clean. The only down side was the towels and washing machine smelled horribly of mold/mildew.

Pelican 48 is a great place to stay. Everything was spotless and communication was fast and easy. The owner is very responsible and even offered to us an early check in. In the condo you will find everything you need or can think of you might need and everything is explained in detail! I highly recommend Pelican 48 to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation with a beautiful view at the ocean!

The property was perfect. It did not disappoint and the view was amazing. Pajaro Dunes is our go to place for a calm beach vacation. This condo was well maintained and cleaned. The communication with the host was excellent as was the check in process.

As everybody else wrote it is a wonderful apartment with a fantastic view. Everything you need for a holiday or short break is available. Sandy is an easy to aproach owner and does her outmost for a relax stay. Would definitely book again if we were heading for the USA again. Best regards Mark

Visiting central California from East Coast and wanted to spend time near Monterey. Lovely location. Enjoyed aquarium, tide pools, Carmel, Elkhorn Slough (said sloo) and beach combing.

We enjoyed our three nights in this wonderful condo. Very quiet and private, private wrap-around balcony, renovated and updated, unbelievable view, comfy furniture and beds, well equipped tidy kitchen, spotless clean, with warm inviting attention to details. Check-in was a breeze, host very responsive, we look forward to enjoying this lovely condo again soon.

A great condo in a wonderful location. Condo itself is in great condition and kitchen has everything you could need for cooking. Condo is on the third floor (hence the nice view of the ocean) but it isn't an issue with ramps (not stairs) and carts are provided. Beach access was easy and the wide beach was great for walking.

The condo was lovely and the kitchen had everything you need to make meals - the whole condo was well stocked including enough towels and cozy blankets to wrap up in. The views were magnificent and the whole family enjoyed walking the beach and looking for sand dollars. The location is close to both Santa Cruz and Monterey/Carmel. Would definitely recommend!

Had a waondeful staycation at your condo! Pictures dont do justice, you have to see it for yourself and the views are breathtaking. Weve stayed at several, condos, townhouses and houses at pajaro dunes but this one has to be at top. For someone who does all the packing, there were so many extras provided which were all much appreciated (spices, dish soap, bar soaps, all supplies needed to cook a njce dinner, ziplock bags, foil and saran wrap and more). Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo! Will be back!

We have stayed at several VRBO properties, and this condo is one of the top 2 on our list. A beautiful location along the ocean and within close proximity to Carmel/Monterey and Santa Cruz. We could not have been happier with the privacy, cleanliness and location of this condo. The condo is decorated with an attention to detail and the kitchen is fully stocked with every possible amenity. The owner if responsive and checking in and out was easy. It was the perfect place to ring in the new year! If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay and enjoy taking walks on the beach, this is your spot!

Pajaro Dunes has become my quick getaway spot to come relax and recharge. This was my first time staying in the condos and I’ll definitely go back to this unit. The view was beautiful and it was the perfect spot to hang and recharge with some friends. My only feedback would be to have a comfier couch. I realize this is an odd review point, but we literally come to veg, watch movies, and eat, with a view. We booked last minute and the host responded within minutes and we received all of the necessary info to check in and access the property. I will definitely be back to this lovely spot!

A tranquil and picturesque location, with a view of Monterey bay and the surf crashing on the beach. A lot of pelicans. The condominium was comfortable, and its decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere, like somebody’s home rather than the bland feeling of a hotel room we have had in other rentals. Highly recommended

This is a home that offers many personal touches. Everything in the home has been thoughtfully arranged and appointed. We enjoyed the easy beach access and felt as though we were the only people on the beach most of the time! This complex is quiet and very relaxing. We would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity!

This condo has a fantastic view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. I stayed here to take a few days away to contemplate a transition and make plans. It was the perfect space to do that. Because I was staying there alone, I wanted a safe space. This is a gated community about a mile long. There is plenty of space for long walks on sidewalks or on the beach. The sunsets are magnificent. Tennis and Pickleball courts provide enough recreational space for those passionate about that. It is only 10 minutes from a grocery store in an agricultural area of CA. Highly recommend!

My fiance (and now hubby) and i stayed at this beautiful and spacious condo during our wedding weekend! We sipped coffee in front of the breathtaking view and watched dolphins jump in the surf! Absolutely magical and we can’t recommend it enough!

This is a lovely well maintained unit. Pride of ownership throughout for sure and the little touches everywhere show they really want guests to have the best experience. The views and sound of the ocean are spectacular! It takes 200 steps to be on the beach:) I am scent sensitive and did have to air out the unit from the cleaner used.That was the only minor issue. Which is really a non issue after windows open for a little while. The host was extremely easy to communicate with. Bring a warm blanket if you want to maximize out on the deck :).Truly a little slice of heaven.
