Oceanfront Sea Colony condo with pool & hot tub, ocean view, & free WiFi

This was a great location. You can see the ocean without paying oceanfront prices. It could use a few updates, like a new kitchen sink, the TVs are small and outdated, and the chain for the door lock was missing, and someone put a hair tie as a fix. We loved playing tennis and being so close to the beach. I would come back here.

This was our first time in Bethany Beach and our 1st time renting someone elses Condo. We were extremely please with our choice. We also were very impressed with the way Sea Colony is ran. Every staff member we came across was extremely helpful and polite. We will definitely be back again next year.

The location is perfect and the place was clean. It could use a few upgrades to furniture and bathrooms. However, after booking, we learned that the Sea Colony has a separate resort fee that everyone over 4 years old must pay. The price changes depending on the season, but is 55 a person in peak summer. This gets you a badge that is required to use the pools and beach as well as parking. This is not disclosed on VRBO so sharing for everyone else's awareness.

The location is amazing, right on the beach and close to the Bethany boardwalk. The rental itself was very clean, but could use a few upgrades to the bathrooms and kitchen sink.

This unit is very nice and quite comfortable. There were just two of us. Four adults would be less cozy and a bit crowded. The unit was clean, everything worked as it should. The view was beautiful from the fifth floor; probably even better on the higher floors. This was our first trip to Bethany and we won't hesitate to return.

The Property itself was amazing. Clean, stocked and exactly as advertised. The fees for the property were a little unfair seeing as how they only had 1 pool open before memorial day weekend and literally no staff on location of the building I was at. Checking in was a hassle not knowing where to go and how to get to the room.

The access to the beach and other sea colony amenities was great and worth the additional service fees. The unit was mostly clean with exception of the bathroom floor and we did have issues with the shower not draining upon arrival. We communicated this to the guest services line (via text as the phone line was not answered) and received confirmation a ticket was created. We did not receive any updates through the end of our stay, and no attempt to fix the issue was made. This did significantly impact our ability to shower which unfortunately had a negative impact to the vacation. We did still have a good trip, and our daughter was able to make the most of the time but the lack of response to an important issue (our opinion I guess) made it clear that we were just a number.

Check in was laborious, but once we finally got to our room … all was well! Lovely place, beautiful beach, fantastic amenities!

We were four adults for five nights and really enjoyed this unit. It was clean and well furnished. Having the extra half bathroom made it very do-able for four people. Pull out couch is not ideal or super comfortable but it worked ok. Proximity to beach is excellent and the view was great, just above the units in front of you.

The floors were sticky in both bathrooms, and I found someone's airpod on the floor: something that would have been noticed if the place was vacuumed. The wifi was very fast, but also unreliable - YouTube videos would pause to buffer in the middle, and if the doors were closed, it didn't seem to work at all in the bathrooms or bedroom. Aside from those minor issues, and I do want to stress that they felt minor, the stay was great! The view was fantastic, the hvac worked well, and the kitchen was stocked with everything (aside from food) that I needed.

Liked the unit, but did not like a Vacasa employee letting himself into our unit to look for something a previous guest had left in the unit. I should have been contacted first.
