Pro:This place is amazing. Had a glitch in the first part of the week and at the end but both were taken care fast. The place is close to all the attractions and right on the ocean. Everything we needed for first time stay in myrtle beach. .con: the parking is across the street.

Highly recommend this place if you're coming to North Myrtle Beach! Perfect spot for my husband, 2 kids and parents.

Beautifully decorated spacious condo with amazing ocean view. Quiet and comfortable. Owners were super responsive to questions prior to our stay. Avista staff were very polite and very friendly.

It was a very nice apartment exactly like the pictures very clean fully equipped the view was beautiful easily accessible with elevator close by. Everything went to plan. All of this made our trip so enjoyable without problems to deal with. I would like to do this again some time. The host was helpful in telling me the things I needed to know in fact it was my first experience using Vrbo and all went well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Avista. The condo was immaculately maintained and equipped to accommodate our needs.

We were in town for our college daughter's Spring Softball games. Team was in the resort, so we chose the resort/condo to be close to the team & ball park. It was clean, cute, well equipped & offered a great view! Beds were comfy after long days! Easy walk to shops & ice cream, short drive to the boardwalk & broadway on the beach!Only negative comment...if you bank on a washer/dryer for your stay do not count on this dryer. It's a single unit that washes & ventless drys. It does not dry. Being in town for sports & in sun all day, washing/drying clothes was critical. Washing works fine, but drying takes multiple hours for 2 or 3 light garmets & never fullly dries. We had to hang garments nightly & take other items to neighboring units to dry. Packed light expecting to be able to wash as needed. Not an option unfortunately.If you don't need the washer/dryer, would absolutely recommend the unit!

Great location overlooking the beach and pool area. Easy access to the beach, quick walk to shopping and dining. Beds were very comfortable and there are 2 full bathrooms. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of space.

Great location and aminities. This was our 2nd stay in the Penthouse. We appreciated the extra beach supplies, cart, chairs, etc.The only issue was over a cooler that was missing and apparantly taken by a previous guest.

Fantastic location, top floor with direct ocean view, super clean, had everything and more that you'd ever need and walking distance to several restaurants and stores. Very comfortable beds ! Restaurants ? We loved Buoys and HOTO, both were only a few blocks away and easy walking distance.On the advice of the rental agent we checked out Chucks, great steaks ! The only thing we had issues with was gnats.Made it impossible to enjoy the balcony, which was a really big reason we rented this top floor unit, because the one time we did there was 40-50 gnats that got in despite us going in and out quickly so we didn't go out on the balcony again as we didn't want the place full of gnats.Not sure what could be done to at least minimize the number of them, if there's anything that could be done ?That's nature though, pretty sure it's beyond the ownership of the condo and not reflected in my review which is above and beyond excellent accommodations.

We loved our stay in N Myrtle Beach! It was everything we dreamed of. Perfect oceanfront views, super close to beach and pools. Condo was super clean and had no issues at all. Owner was super responsive when we had questions. We loved it so much and can’t wait to come back.

Check-in was very easy. Kitchen had lots of utensils and appliances. Bedding was very comfortable and plenty of toiletries and towels. Beach chairs were available for the beach. Quiet unit nicely decorated. Great choice for three women over the age of 50.

We had a fabulous stay at this property. The condo was clean and looked just the pics. The beds were super comfortable. The location as great as well. We enjoyed the pool and beach a few times. Would definitely stay again.

This is our second year staying here at this condo. The views from the balcony cannot be beat! The condo is spacious and comfortable and is well stocked. The property itself has something for everyone, and we love the different pools and lazy rivers. The proximity to local attractions is also great. Walking distance (0.2 miles) to Main Street, and a short drive to Barefoot Landing. My only negative of the property is the parking is across the street, but I'm not complaining. We will be back next year!

The condo was very nice, beautiful view and very well kept.

The toilet ran in the master bathroom so had to be adjusted after every flush. The air conditioning was too cold and hard to adjust but we managed. We enjoyed our stay. One of us told me yesterday that she mistakenly took home the 9x13 casserole dish so we need to know how to replace that dish. The condo was clean, view is great, staff was very helpful.

Great view, very clean

Quick little spring break trip was great trip, a little hiccup but was resolved quickly. Condo is located at the top giving an great view of the ocean and pool. Pool area is perfect, the older kids could run between indoor and outdoor pools as it is all fenced in and secure. I can't wait to return for an adult only stay to use more of the other eninites that are avaible in the building!!

We brought the kids (age 15 and 12) for spring break and the condo was the perfect size. There is plenty to do at the resort and the proximity to Main Street in N Myrtle Beach is great. Everything in the condo was clean and well appointed. Thanks!

On a Friday evening I spontaneously decided to seek some Spring Break Sun therapy for my family. Flying was prohibitive, so we decided to look at Myrtle Beach. The first one I saw on VRBO was the one for Avista. What a beautiful high rise. I looked at the pics and was sold. I thought our condo was up high, but wasn’t sure. We were on the top floor. Amazing views, and everything about the condo was perfect. The owners should be commended. Thank you for providing us a wonderful week.

My family and I loved our first trip to Myrtle Beach. We loved the condo and pools plus beach access, along with a great view. I would definitely visit and stay here again. The only thing I would change would be the washer and dryer combo in the unit. I wish it would have worked better as we were always in need of clean towels, etc. Overall though, I wouldn’t let that deter me from booking again.

The condo was very nice on the top floor of the south tower. Within walking distance to restaurants and shops. We didn't have much time to explore the grounds due to a busy softball schedule, but the pools, hot tubs and the beach looked nice.

Nice unit, great view!

We were told on check in that the lazy river was closed and they hoped to have it open by Thanksgiving. The indoor pool was cold and one of the hot tubs out side was bath water warm. Also the first hour of our arrival the fire alarm went off which was difficult to hear in our room and sounded like a car alarm outside. The speaker for the alarm was in the stairwell. The washer/dryer in the condo was very slow even with a very small load it took about 6 hours to wash and dry one load of just a few clothes. The room was clean, decorated nicely and well stocked with dishes.

The Avista resort very nice, owner do a good job to make you feel @ home. A good location and the oceanfront is beautiful, really enjoyed our stay will be back again. Thanks

The Avista resort has on-site amenities like pools, hot tubs, lazy rivers and is right on the beach. This condo also has beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and beach toys for the kids. It was a convenient location to get other places. We felt safe and it was reasonably quiet. it was nice not to have to leave every day to do something with so much to do right there. We will try to stay there again in the future!

Enjoyed the penthouse. Everything was as described. However, the washer/dryer is not for families. We will return to this resort.

Very clean and bright oceanfront condo in a great location. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back to the same resort and this same unit. The kids enjoyed being in the “penthouse!” If you don’t mind being up high it’s a great spot. You can see the ocean for miles!
