Stayed Apr 17, 2025The condo was as pictured, clean, and well equipped with kitchen essentials for eating meals in. The location is great, right on the beach. Views are partial ocean and beautiful. The resort fees you pay in addition provide for 2 beach chairs and umbrella. There were a couple extra chairs in the condo if you need. Within walking distance, about 8 mins, or short drive to Walmart and Publix so that’s very convenient. The reviews about the elevators being a bit ridiculous were spot on. Only 4 elevators for 40 floors made it a little crazy at times but if you plan ahead and leave ample time, it’s manageable.

Stayed Mar 19, 2025Pros: beautiful views, right on the beach, well appointed apartment with everything you’d need. Inside of the apartment was clean. Everything worked and was very comfortable. Cons: bad communication with property managers. They are unreliable. You will wait a long time for elevators and there is only valet parking which will also make you 20 to 30 minutes late whenever you need the car. The balcony area and seating outside were filthy, we had to clean it before we’d use it and the views are why you’d want to stay in the apartment. The beach is overcrowded and beach chairs are packed like sardines on the beach.there are no nice restaurants in walking distance so you need a car to get around.

Stayed Dec 22, 2024We spent a week over the holidays. Check in was easy and informative. The condo worked well for our family. We have 3 teens so one slept on the pull out couch. We loved the balcony! Great views. The beach set up was so convenient. We loved direct beach access with 2 chairs plus towels (extra beach chairs in the condo were appreciated) The 4 elevators could be slow during busy times of day but the staff/security were quick to assist and keep things moving. We had a great vacation and will definitely be back!

Stayed Apr 1, 2024Nice property and great room and property was right on the beach! It was close to the Hallandale beach boardwalk that was about a 35 minute walk or 6 minutes drive with Uber. I think the actual check in process on the property was quite long. The owners were very responsive which I really appreciate!

Stayed Mar 25, 2024We enjoyed our seven day stay at the Hyde. The beach view is beautiful and the pools are very nice. Our 13 and 10 year olds had a great time. If you read a lot of reviews you will hear of the elevator issue. All four were working while we were here but we did have to wait during busy times of the day. If you plan a few extra minutes you will be fine, it wasn’t a huge deal. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

Stayed Mar 11, 2024Everything was perfect with the condo and the property. We loved the huge balcony overlooking both the ocean and inter coastal waterway- absolutely gorgeous view! Our host was very communicative throughout our trip. The front desk was also very helpful and friendly. Loved it and will definitely be back!

Stayed Jan 8, 2024The last 14 days have been anything but a vacation staying at The Hyde Resort and Residences. If I had been aware of what the situation in this building actually was, I would have never taken my family here for our vacation. To start, I’d like to address the elevator situation. For 41 floors of people there are 4 elevators (one is a service elevator that smells of trash and is always filled with cleaning personnel). Since the day we arrived, one has been shut down, leaving 3 elevators (including the service elevator ) and most days one of those three are broken. In order to leave our floor, we have waited upwards of 25-30 minutes at times to get on an elevator. I am here with a 4 month old and a 3 year old with two strollers and no way to get down 23 flights of stairs with them. This not only poses an inconvenience issue but a safety life issue. The crowded, slow and constantly broken elevators have been a huge burden on feeling safe as well as not being able to conveniently come and go in a timely manner. When I called the desk and addressed the issue they told me it was “not their problem” and lied and told me “none of the elevators are broken” when there was caution signs and tape in front of two of them. The next issue to address in terms of safety and convenience is the beach construction we were not made aware of. Every 3 minutes there are 80 ton tractors driving up and down Hallandale beach which has caused the Hyde to cut half of their chairs and umbrellas and
