Oceanfront, First Floor Condo. Steps to Beach

Great stay

Rain overnight filled the hallway for our room entry door. 1 1/2” of water to wade thru when you arrive/leave. Ceramic tile just inside in hallway from LR to bedroom completely loose. Potty lid was partly streaked from wear. Very distasteful looking. Would cost 15 to replace. Wi-Fi unavailable the first and third night. On the other hand, the lawn outside was awesome. I hardly stepped in the sand except to walk the beach. Price was ok for an SPI stay but I’ve had several same price stays much nicer.

The unit is no frills and could definitely use a deep clean and maybe some fresh paint. The location however is excellent. Steps away from the beach with a view. There is a small patio with two chairs that is shaded in the afternoon which makes it a great place to be outside and hear the sounds of the beach. We were traveling with dogs and couldn’t have asked for a better set up. Green space directly outside the patio doors. Teresa was our contact while we stayed and she was very responsive. She was accommodating and was immediately available for any of our questions. I would stay again.

Great location Views were beautiful

The location is amazing - walk right outside to the beach and have a grassy lawn for our pups. The building is older, which is fine, but some updates to the unit would be ideal (rugs over broken tiles) . The place is spotless and we definitely appreciated that, but it honestly has an odor that I had a really hard time getting past. I thought it was a super strong cleaner but I think maybe it’s moisture and a musty smell. That needs to be corrected. Overall the location and it being pet friendly saved it for us.

Fantastic stay! The units here are small but very comfortable for a couple. Plenty of space & everything you need in the kitchen. Beds are comfortable, AC is cold and shower has great water pressure. The best part, only steps to the water.....like right outside your door so easy to come back and forth from your beach spot. Wanna Wanna is next door with their famous Turbo Colada and delicious ceviche, seafood & burgers. Rental lounge chairs & umbrella for 40 all day. The pool was clean & perfect temp. So much fun. Property manager was super helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Horrible. There was a view of a retaining wall and plastic storage she. NO view of the gulf. Rusty bath tub drain, black mold? In toilet, under sink, dirty vents, small areas of peeling ceiling, beds not completely made, beds looked like cots with foam mattress. We made an immediate complaint, left the unit and checked into a modern, clean, gulf view room at the Hilton.

Great location, right on the beach. Great view. Lived the back patio area with grass lawn. Perfect for trip with our dog. Older condos, but had everything we needed. Only downside was kitchen had no real pantry space for storing groceries.

Location was fantastic!Place felt very safe!Coordinator for unit was very responsive. Accommodations could be a little better (futon couch could have been cleaner)

Amazing location! Great little lawn area that allowed us to play some yard games, sit and listen and see the ocean! Communication with the property owner and manager were wonderful! Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.

This was the first for our family to visit South Padre, and I must say we had the most best time ever! This was the cutest condo and the beach access was perfect along with the pool and hot tub after a long day exploring! We truly felt at home staying here, and the hosts we only one call away. Great communication! We are already planning on staying again next year.

Awesome

Lovely place in a great location on the island - a great place for a family to get away for the weekend. Being pet-friendly made things so much easier for us, and saved us money on a sitter. It was also a short drive to the best dolphin tour we've ever been on!

It was great to walk a very short distance to the beach and it’s right next door to wanna wanna so everything was just amazing

Being able to head right out to the beach is so nice ! Had a great time , condo was well equipped , had comfortable beds . Enjoyed the pool and hot tub . Easy access to laundry room. The only thing I would change is the faucet in the bathroom it had rust on it, other than that everything was excellent. .

This was a great place to stay. You walk out onto nice grass, which is excellent for pets. Number 108 is my favorite place to stay at La Internacional. I have stayed in various other units here at La Internacional and go once a year. Walk non-stop to the beach. It is wonderful!
