Stayed Jun 13, 2026I have come to NSB beachside for family get togethers almost annually since the late 1980's. Stayed in many places along the beach, NEVER one like this. We got this one when the one we planned to stay in got suddenly cancelled, so this was a VERY last minute replacement. I hate to give bad reviews but I would hate to see someone else get stuck with what we had. Unit was poorly cleaned and maintained. We entered to plates with a sheen of grease, flatware with food crusted on and two frying pans that were completely unusable. Needs dish drainer, sharp knives. Entryway rug is old and curled up, caused us more than once to trip over it. throw that thing out! Power plug in bedroom sparked when I tried to plug in my phone charger. Mattress is collapsing on both sides where you get out of bed. Two recliners in the living room are old and one has arm rests that are completely useless. Kitchen trash can needs to be washed out- old smelly liquid residue in it. Bathroom counter drawers are de-laminating and peeling. Floor tiles are probably original from the 1980s and chipped in several places. Overall, the unit is dingy and grungy, needs complete DEEP cleaning and makeover as well as paint. your cleaning company isn't doing you any favors here. Dehumidifier is so loud you cant hear conversation with it on. One of the beach chairs was broken. Owner needs to spend a week and see what we saw. Very disappointed. On a scale of 1-5, it was a 0 for our stay.

Stayed Feb 11, 2026Pictures do not tell accurate condition furniture worn out stuffing missing from arms of recliners bed harder than a rock seems like it came from a yard sale. Has mold problems. Cabinets in very poor condition looks like built in the 50s with no upgrades since then the only positive was the view and the beach. Had to fight for parking each night. Had to call to get access to unit on the first day im sure on purpose as to restrict early access.
